Fantastic Barbers

Been a regular customer at Ali’s Fantastic Barber shop since he opened. Extremely busy shop, sometimes queue is long, Ali does have 3 to 5 more barbers working however, due to their popularity and good cuts and friendly atmosphere one may end up waiting a little bit.

Very poor job. My son had a rough haircut, very rushed and disappointing result. My wife had to tell the barber 3 times what to do and he kept ignoring her. All they were trying to do is get you out ASAP.Please avoid if you want a decent job.

A terrible cut, dangerous use of the scissors (almost cut my nose off), hit me in the eye twice with his comb and didn't understand a word I was saying. I asked for a #1 back and sides but then had to remind him to do the back.... I left in a hurry only to find the barber" didn't finish the left side..... what a waste of £17!"

Ali is fantastic! cut my sons hair today and was so impressed, excellent service, very helpful, i paid in advance he remembered Jayden and i am so so impressed with the standard of haircut won't go anywhere else 5*

Don’t think I’ve ever had this sort of experience in any barber shop.Completely ruined my hairstyle.First time ever I popped in for a skin fade, instead the barber who barely spoke to me, shaved half of my head. Showed him a photo of my last haircut and asked to do a proper fade with shorter length on top , he ignored that and did whatever he desired. Honestly he left the hair on top like mop head. Was so much in shock that I paid and left. Next day I came back and asked to fix the mess, the other (seems like the owner) blamed on me that I said shorter hair. I tried to explain what I said, he wasn’t having any of it. He tapped on my shoulder and said “ do me a favour, go to your previous barber.”Won’t be visiting them again

This place used to be amazing but recently their new hairdressers don't speak satisfactory English therefore making it extremely hard to communicate. They have also been rude to my brother by asking my brother if he speaks English when he couldn't understand what they were saying. The barber's which have been there a long time are good but the new ones are terrible. My last haircut there was terrible and since then I do not go there any more.

Hallelujah. Been looking for a decent barber in Sussex since I moved here 8 years ago and shame of me for not visiting Ali in Uckfield sooner. Precise cut, superb gradient on the beard, did exactly what I asked for. Won't go anywhere else now.

The barbers at Ali’s are second to none they are friendlyAnd there fades are amazing it’s the only place to go I would highly recommend

I took my son to Ali’s barber today and I was very apprehensive as my little one is 2 and he hates having his hair cut. And now… we will never go anywhere else. They were just simply amazing with him and were not going to let him leave with anything but a perfect cut. He was treated with kindness and gentleness but with ruthless efficiency to get the job done. From a mum who dreads haircuts, thank you thank you thank you.

Was very good and patient with my ASD son who hates having his hair done , He was made to feel welcomed and relaxed and the barber was very swift at styling his hair . Thank you
