Thyme & Chillies Birdham
Great location, a converted pub so it has a bit of an old English / Indian fusion atmosphere.We ordered starters (samosa chaat) and mains (daal, biriyani) and for me personally the food all seemed a bit mild and shall we say accustomed to western palate… for me the dishes didn’t feel authentic and felt quite modified. I would have preferred a bit more of a kick across all the dishes. But generally the dishes were well-cooked and very nicely presented.

We came here in a weekday noon for Indian curry and nan, and they are exactly what we’re looking for. The restaurant has its own car park, easy to access from Chichester. We will definitely come back again when we want some Indian curry again.

Absolutely amazing food! Being Indian myself I thought the food was very authentic and tasty. We are on holiday and craved home cooked food which is exactly what we got. Thank you! Special thanks to Antonio and Yash was their hospitality and friendly service. Highly recommended!!!

This is one of the only few authentic Indian restaurants.We had their team for a private party at our house. The owner himself and the chef made sure that everything was perfect.Food was amazing as was the planning.Thank you,

This is a wonderful restaurant. The food was incredible, the atmosphere was very pleasant and the service was great. All of the waiters were very nice. I hope to come again soon!

It was fine but overall disappointing - you can do better. The food was good but not great. The dining room was hot. The service was awkward. Making a reservation took many emails and when we arrived they did not have it, though they did serve us

A very nice Indian restaurant with good ambience and great food. Menu had good choices and had specials for the day as well. They were nice enough to give us a complimentary takeaway when one of the order got mixed up. Thanks for hosting us and will definitely visit again if we are in the area again.

Went last week for my husbands birthday. Food was delicious. Service was second to none with very friendly staff. Sang happy birthday to my husband. Even gave us a free glass! Will definitely come again

We enjoyed our dinner very much. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was great. Our server Vijay was very attentive and friendly.Sadly we don't live close by to come here more often. ;)

Went to this place as a last-minute decision! They staff were lovely and managed to fit my group of 4 in without a booking. Lovely food, fast service. Would highly recommend eating here.
