The Kilton Inn Pub
Used to frequent regularly, but had been disappointed before. Thought we'd give it a second chance, so went for dinner. Some dishes were off the menu, as not been delivered. Opted for the sea bass, which when presented was more like a child size portion. To charge over £17 for it was a disgrace. I did feedback to the our server, but she was far from interested. We shan't be giving them the benefit of the doubt again, definitely not worth it

Had the most amazing Sunday lunch here a few weeks ago with family. Food was just beautiful and the lamb cooked to perfection. Staff were lovely and attentative and gave my 4 year old some colouring stuff to do too which was a welcome distraction after purple fruit shoot sent him hyper! (we never learn).

Lovely clean place. Service was excellent. Food wasn't great..steak tough and chips cold. Other meals served first and wait for steak.. service was so good though didn't mention poor food.

We have been here many times and it has always been a real favourite with our family, especially for their amazing Sunday dinners. 10 of us went yesterday for a birthday treat & we were SO disappointed. The place was empty but service was terrible & the food was not good. They didn't have many things, including pigs in blankets & cauliflower cheese, which were standard for their Sunday dinner, to name just 2 items. The portions were poor & the roast beef was equal portions of fat & tough meat. There were 2 small, thin pieces of carrot & parsnip, 2 tiny long stem broccoli pieces & 3 small roasted new potatoes & that was the Adult portion of veg on each plate. Previous the chef had done a brilliant job of fitting all the amazing food onto 1 plate. We cleared the plates away ourselves during the 25 minute wait for our deserts to arrive & there was only a small portion of ice cream available as it had melted. The young lady that served us was Lovely, but she apologised so many times we all felt sorry for her. We will now be looking for another restaurant for our family favourite, as we will definitely not be returning. We have found out that it has changed hands & things have clearly taken a nosedive.Only saving grace is that they did a lovely desert board with Happy Birthday piped on for our Granddaughter, which made her happy.......which is what the whole visit was about.

Lovely place to either sit down with a drink or have a meal. I felt welcomed by the staff they were nice and friendly. Tables have a sign saying that they have been cleaned which was a nice feature. Food was absolutely fantastic and was well presented. Would rate 10 stars if possible. Would highly recommend. Definitely coming back.

The meal was good, apart from our steaks being cold. The guy beind the bar seemed to be doing all the work. Whilst the 2 waitresses spent too much time chatting!! Certainly not up to the job of being a waitress.

Very friendly and accommodating. Spacious car park large enough for our MH stop over. Very quiet and safe. Friendly country pub with superb food. Would definitely recommend.
