Excellent nature reserve, fishing lake at one end and long walk along a trail full of wildlife, huge Peacock butterfly pollution and the dragonflies were out, very tranquil and ideal for dog walking!

Quiet, very varied walking place. Small parking area. A few benches around for enjoying the views. Great place to walk dogs

Highly reccomend, beautiful little country pub. Great setting, fabulous food, drink and service. They tend to your every whim, table fires, cosy blankets with a breathtaking back drop of the countryside. We will definitely visit again

A beautiful spot to go for a walk. Hardly anyone around and gorgeous scenery. Also good if you like to go forraging as there is an abundant supply of wild garlic there. There are often fields of cows to say hello to.

Even though it was swampy and cold you can't beat a walk in the countryside. We live up the top and have only just moved in. We decided to go for a stroll that didn't include the pub! This is going to be so good in the summer. Fishing, picnics and hopefully we can camp here. Livestock run free through the route but pose no threat to you.
