Had a lovely day here with friends and our 2 kids (2 & 5). Staff were lovely, gardens are stunning & kids playground area is fab. A great day out for those that live all things botanical or looking for things for the kids. My daughter was obsessed with the indoor pond of huge koi carp I think we went back to it 4 times in our visit!

The event was beautiful and received warm welcome. We all had chocolates left on the seats. I gave mine away being vegan but what a lovely touch! The Sekine quartet were so talented and played the best of Hans Zimmer and the stage being raised made views even better. The atmosphere was wonderful and would definitely recommend this venue.

Great gardens, lovely & relaxing, especially in good weather. Was disappointed with the chicken tikka masala today. Ordered it for my mother & myself & when it arrived it was decidedly cool"

Great experience within the heart of the city centre. Great place to sight see, relax at a leisurely pace and enjoy the sights and sounds of the live bands and nature. Something like this would be best to enjoy on a hot summers day as it’s a beautiful place to be. It’s not a big as I expected but it’s also makes a good option to spend with family and friends

The garden provide a tranquil and immersive experience, it offers educational value with informative signage and is suitable for families, nature enthusiasts, and those seeking solace in nature. This hidden gem is a respite from city life, offering a rejuvenating escape into the embrace of the natural world. It also had Japanese Gardens, Rose Gardens, Tropical Rainforest and Greenhouses.

Tickets were really cheap, especially for students! Great place to visit if you are touring Birmingham as a local or a foreigner. Also a great place for kids, they have some amazing playgrounds! We loved the butterfly house, although I wish it was bigger! I know that's probably a funding issue though. Still magical, all the same!Supporting the gardens is so easy when they have an amazing gift shop! Very wide variety of gifts, garden equipment, and souvenirs. We bought a lovely teapot and mugs. Very reasonable prices, best I've ever seen at a gift shop that nice.In addition, the staff was wonderful and so kind. Thank you for all your hard work and for making this beautiful space for everyone to enjoy.

Great day looking around, food was reasonably priced, well stocked gift shop and the pantomime was okay for an additional cost.

We visited on Saturday, its incredibly accessible from the town centre, you could walk there or just take the tram and walk 10mins. There is a car park and was a wedding on which didn't prevent other guests from enjoying the facilties. There were plenty of mobility chairs at reception if you needed to wheel anyone around. From the entrance you go through several tropical rooms with koi and exotic plants. You can then walk outside and follow various paths round the edge of the path. To the left is a cafe serving nice coffee with indoor and outdoor seating. Lots of recycling bins. There is a bandstand and an aviary with birds who I'm sure were well looked after. But I question keeping birds in a cage unless for Conservation purposes. Lots of winding paths through pleasing planted areas down to a butterfly house. It's pretty small and we spotted several lovely butterflies. We did a circle back around a beautiful pond, the fern garden was closed but that didn't spoil our enjoyment. It did remind me a little of Cambridge botanical Gardens. We spent about 1.5hrs which incl 20 sheltering from the showers with a coffee. Its worth a visit.
