Easy to use website, instant confirmation emails, very prompt service. I have used this company a few times now and have been delighted with service and products. My most recent order was confirmed on a Friday afternoon and delivered the next day! Thank you SMD knitting!

This supplier is incredibly attentive. On every occasion that I have ordered from them online, I have been amazed at their processing efficiency. They communicate instantly when orders are received. I was delighted to receive my order within 48 hours. As with previous orders. Absolutely fabulous service. Not to mention I can always find what I am looking for from their large choice of merchandise. I wish I lived closer to this shop, I live in Dorset and there is no yarn supplier here that comes close to SMD.

I hate giving bad reviews but this one has really annoyed me and I feel I need to share. I decided to try this company over my usual one to order yarn and placed an order on 28/10/23. I got an email notification to say the items had been shipped First Class on 30/10. I hadn't received the items by 03/11 so emailed them and had no response. I sent a further email chasing this up on 07/11 and still no response or items received. I have now sent a third email to ask where my goods are and asking for a full refund. Terrible service and I will not be using this company again.UPDATE - after writing this I received an email from the director of the company who was quick to help and resolve the issue which was greatly appreciated so for that, I am grateful and want to give them thanks for that.

Traveled some distance to this store as the pictures were so impressive for a knitter I saved for weeks got there and was told we are closed it's not a shop anymore if that's the case this needs taking down .

This is the first time I have used SMD, it certainly won't be the last. I ordered one day and got delivery the next day. The website is so user friendly and the service is fantastic. Well done!

Super Quick confirmation and delivery!! Had the yarn I needed when it was out of stock in every other store I looked at. Really nice packaging when it arrived :) overall really happy with my experience and would deffo order again in the future

I love this company. They are reasonably priced. Very large selection of wools. Quick delivery. Customer service 2nd to non. As long as they have the yarn I want I wouldn't use anyone else. Just fantastic

Highly recommend this for online purchases. Very well laid out website that clearly shows stock level by dye lot. Great selection of yarns including some more difficult to find elsewhere. Good communication with customer.Be sure to sign up for the loyalty points, they make the experience even more worthwhile. So glad I found this website.

So far not a good experience. I ordered and paid for 4 balls of one yarn and only one has arrived. I tried ringing their customer service line but there is only a recorded message which advised that they are too busy to speak to anyone and not to leave a message as they won't check it and ring back although they hope to deal with it promptly if you email them, which I have done. Hopefully I will get my wool, or my money back!!
