I fell in love with this free house.I ate my english breakfast here for the first time and I went crazy because they have the tastiest bacon I ate in my whole life.I miss this pub the most now.

We went here twice once for dinner and drinks and then for breakfast a couple of days later both were nice. The food was a little cold but still enjoyable. The only problem I had was that the tea and coffee machine was right next to the toilet, and it wasn't a nice smell. Staff are friendly toilets are on ground floor so no mile hike. There is plenty of seating. It's I'm the town and I didn't see any parking close by but it's close to bus route and a short walk from the train station

Typical Spoons fare. After paying £16 for 2 drinks in another pub, we moved to the Four candles same drinks £8 and to be honest, the decor was better.

We had a brilliant day in Oxford. Wonderful place for sightseeing. Great architecture around every corner and a very smart shopping centre. We found ourselves eating in the four candles because of the two Ronnies sketch lol but it was one best spoons we’ve been in!

Food was not great. Cheap and cheerful - ish. Drink was removed from my table as I ordered food. When I mentioned it to the bar staff I was told I should not have left it unattended. No offer of a replacement. It is difficult to keep a table and order food when you are by yourself. Might revisit but doubt it.

Went in for food before starting a night shift. Normally I would have a mixed grill or gammon and egg. I was extremely disappointed to discover neither of these were on the menu.As a contractor, I have visited many Wetherspoons over the years and this is the only one that has left me hungry!Sadly the excuse for a burger didn't touch the sides.

Great value for money in a classic Oxford setting. Excellent choice of burgers, pizza and drinks. Family friendly.

I usually love giving good reviews but I felt extremely helpless within this place, I paid £11.88 (the price for what was the burger I ordered WITH a soft drink) and there was a glitch with the app where my drink was not ordered. I thought this would be harmless as I still paid full price but when I showed the receipt I was denied a soft drink. Not only this but the burger I was given was completely wrong however I only realised too late. My money has been taken from me! this is not okay.

Great place to have a drink and have some food. The variety of beers and wine is very varied and supported by good service. I happen to try the breakfast with Eggs Benedict and they were delicious.Overall a place with great vibes.

Superb atmosphere for a proper energetic pub with cheap food and drinks. Just note, the food orders are closed at 10PM but it's open till 11:30 pm. Definitely worth a visit for students and young professionals.
