Atlas Mountaineering
I have climbed with Connor several times now, both in Scotland and on an expedition to Morocco, and have several more trips on the cards. He is pretty much the best thing since sliced bread, ultra-professional and super down to earth, and always a pleasure to be around. At this point, I consider him more of a friend than just a guide and I would happily put my life in his hands, which I have already done several times. 150% recommended....get up those hills!!

I booked Connor for two days of guiding to help finish off the more difficult Cuillin Munros and as a result had two great days in the hills. He adjusted the difficulty days to suit my hill experience and we had a cracking day on the west ridge of Gillean along with a fun little explore past Am Basteir. I left feeling like I'd got the most of the day. His chat was grand and I appreciated that he kept the pace a bit slower to help me manage a knee niggle. I'd have no qualms recommending Atlas Mountaineer for any kind of adventuring whatsoever!

We did 4 days of hiking in the Cuillins with Atlas Mountaineering and had an absolutely brilliant time with our guides. Connor and Iain made us feel very safe at all times, while using their own judgement in relation to our experience and comfort levels. We were delighted that both allowed us to challenge ourselves on some more technical routes (within the limits of safety) despite this meaning longer days for them. Connor and Iain were both really friendly, easy to talk to, happy to answer any questions we had and were extremely knowledgeable about the area and climbing techniques. The booking process was smooth and Connor was very responsive before our trip. We can’t recommend Atlas Mountaineering enough. Thank you both for an amazing 4 days!

Conor is the best human and there’s what like 8 billion of us. He’s knows everything, he’s a great laugh and the only guy I’ll ever go to for a guide. Been a few times now and he’s become a good mate x

Spent a brilliant couple of days in the mountains with Connor. Not only a super-chilled, laid back guide but incredibly knowledgeable about the area and a super skilled climber. Across both days his presence was inspiring and motivating. Whilst it was clear our safety was ensured at all times he really allowed me the space to push myself and test my limits as a climber. Tower Ridge was an amazing experience. Thanks to Connor for a great few days and hope to see him in the not too distant future for Skye...

Connor is very knowledgeable and experienced but also a very good dude who you can trust with whatever mountain adventure you have in mind. Everything I would expect from a guide and more.

I've recently come back from the Isle of Skye after booking on a weekend trip with Connor. It was one of the most exhilarating and terrifying experiences of my life...The Isle of Skye and the Cuillin Hills really speak for themselves as a destination - it is simply a breath-taking part of the UK and the world, and never failed to impress me with it's sheer awesomeness over the course of the adventure. However, what really brought the trip to life was Connor and his team who were simply fantastic. They really were masters in their field; sharing their experiences, teaching us the ropes (!) incredibly well and accommodating everyone by moulding the trip around what the group and the individual teams wanted to do. Despite finding myself in some of the scariest situations I've ever faced - clinging to the side of a mountain (fully kitted up with ropes and harness, though, of course!) - Connor and the team always had me feeling like I was in safe hands. The instructors are what really justify the cost of this particular trip: I have learnt *a lot* about mountaineering and about myself.Connor was a great orchestrator of the itinerary and events throughout the weekend, too, and made sure we were always getting the best experience out of it. He's also a great cook which definitely helped in the mornings with his daily briefing and pep talks! He also kept the group dynamic strong with his own anecdotes and questions and making sure everyone was included. The group itself was well-rounded with individuals all from different backgrounds, making it a refreshing experience as it was quite unlike any other group of people I've ever been a part of. Though of course we all had the common goal of experiencing how awesome this planet is and what humans are capable of by conquering Skye's mountains as best we could! My highlight from the trip was probably descending the mountains on days 1 & 3 - knowing that I'd made it to the top having mastered my fears was an incredible feeling of accomplishment, accompanied by spectacular views, come fog or shine...I can't thank Connor and his team enough for the experience and it was definitely the *best* way to open up my mountaineering and Munro account!Until the next one...

We booked Atlas Mountaineering to guide us up the In Pinn in Skye. Connor and Neil were both great company from the first conversation with planning, to meeting and guiding us up. Felt very at ease with the knowledge and skill that was shown to us on the day, lots of brilliant information and advise. We have booked again for another guided climb in a few weeks time because we enjoyed our day so much. Highly recommend and will be our guides for all climbs going forwards.

Having travelled to Morocco with Atlas Mountaineering for the high Atlas Mountains/ Jbel Toubkal expedition, I can honestly say that this was one of the most challenging and rewarding weeks of my life.Connor has carefully planned this trip to ensure that there is ample time to not only explore Marrakesh, enjoying the culture and hustle and bustle it has to offer, but also maximising the opportunity to summit Toubkal and enjoy the high Atlas Mountains safely and without unnecessary risk.Connor and his team always display the utmost professional standards, often going above and beyond to add value and ensure that a great time is had by all.If you’re after a challenging outdoor experience with awesome company and assurances that your safety will be taken seriously, whilst pushing you to your limits, look no further than Connor and his team. Thanks once again and looking forward to the next trip already!

We had a great time summiting Ben Macdui and scrambling along the Fiacaill ridge with Louis and Mícheál. Two enthusiastic and knowledge guides and it was a pleasure to spend a few days with these guys. Would highly recommend to anyone thinking of exploring Scotland, regardless of experience.
