It’s time to change your outdated returns policy!I brought a pair of shoes which, it turned out were not the right colour. Asked the guy who helped me if I could take them away and try them on with my suit and return them if they weren’t right. I was told it would be fine. I took the shoes back just a few days later and was told I could not have a refund.In this day and age this sort of policy just simply doesn't work and is why I will never set foot in this store again.Unfair and outdated policies like this are why great independent stores are suffering. Another customer lost in an already empty store.

The range of clothes is excellent, the quality of the brands is superb, and the staff just can't help you enough! The teams advice is spot on, without being obsequious! I cannot recommend Ashes enough. They are fantastic and we are looking forward to returning.We took our 6’4”, 16 year old son to Ashes to buy a Suit for Prom. He is a strong build due to his sporting hobbies so not the easiest to find a well fitted suit for. However, we were greeted by a young man who served us and we couldn’t be more pleased with the customer service we received.The young chap knew we wanted something different, he straight away recognised what would fit our son and what was in stock so there was no disappointment with finding something we couldn’t have. He knew exactly what worked well with the suit and gave suggestions we would have struggled to find.At no point did we feel rushed or pressured into buying anything and as a result we purchased a three piece suit by Marc Darcey and all the accessories that we would never have found in other well know high street stores.Most importantly, the shopping experience and service we received made a special occasion feel more special and made the experience easy.The clothes are of an exceptional high quality as was the customer service and I would highly recommend them.

Service this shop knows its stuff, we went into see what my partner wanted for a wedding, and came out with 3 piece suit,a shirt and tie, service impeccable, loved the banter and the warm feeling you got walking through the door, we both left the store on a high, thank you so very much Ashes for menswear for making our day.

Visited Ashes recently when looking for a suit for a friends wedding, the guys could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Super knowledgeable, honest and nothing is too much trouble. 100% will be back
