Spa Experience Bethnal Green

Nice reasonable price spa. There's no parking which was frustrating. Unless you book specifically it is a mixed gender venue. The treatments were good.

I've been here multiple times. The thermal spa is a nice way to relax after a long week. You can book in 2hour slots. Sessions are usually mixed male and female but if you prefer females only then they have female only sessions on Fridays.The spa has multiple steam rooms and wet and dry saunas. If you're brave enough take a plunge in the ice cold pool. After you have finished sweating off your stress in the different rooms you can relax on the loungers in the relaxation room enjoying a nice cold free beverage to soothing music.They provide slippers, bathrobe and towel as well as a key and padlock for the lockers.Will be back again and again.

I would have given 5 stars, but like other reviewers said, the smell in an issue. Otherwise the spa is complete, could use a few touch ups but is overall quite nice; I really don't understand why they haven't prioritized solving this issue.I got a body scrub and a facial and I was very satisfied with the treatments. They left me feeling pampered and relaxed; my therapist was really good and professional

Quite poor value for money given the state of the facilities, overall wear and tear, unreliable showers, several sauna/steam room facilities closed (and not announced on the site), and old body odour smell almost everywhere. The three interconnected marble hot/med/cool rooms are elegant, just smelly. What is available is okay if you are looking for a two-hour session though, with a very hot steam and sauna, and very very cold plunge pool. The women-only session felt safe, if a bit chatty.

Spacious relaxing areas & 3 small steam rooms (only 1 turned on when I visited last Thursday), small sauna. Crushed ice bowl, plunge dip, icey shower, & bucket dump.Treatment rooms nicely designed. Therapist good. Reception staff not well informed (didn't know about the online booking format).Changing room is tiny!

This place used to be incredible. A few hiccups as far as the temperature consistency of the sauna and cold plunge but for the most part it was fine. I went recently and it was in such a state, mould and unsanitary conditions.The staff are friendly and pleasant as long as you don’t ask too many questions, if you complain about the state of affairs then you are met with either rude obstinance and almost always nothing will be done about it.

This was once a wonderful place to go to relax but is now run down-which is not all that bad, but 5 rooms out of 7 relaxation rooms had vomit inducing stenches of sewage, mould and I don’t know what else. I don’t know how people tolerated it…the spa was packed out. They’ve limited the woman’s only session to just one day and there is no where else really to go in the locality, so I can see why it was so busy. This place needs a good deep and thorough clean to get rid of all the mould and drain flies, showers in the spa area need to be fixed. There were 2 private showers in the women’s changing room and they have now been removed also. I should be feeling thoroughly relaxed and clean now having just been there but need a long soak to get the yuck off me! :-(I had complained to the receptionists and no one was willing to go into the spa to verify the issues I had raised-they just said that I need to send an e-mail and it would be forwarded on.Had I not planned to meet a friend I had not seen in years there then I could have just left, just couldn’t pass up the opportunity to meet her. Sitting on a lounger for £28 was not what we were hoping to be doing.The images on the website are over a decade old now…when it was called Spa London. Not allowed to take in cameras so unfortunately can not pictorially illustrate all the issues.If you go there with the expectation of the above, then you won’t be disappointed, however I feel we all deserve better, cleaner and non-stinky facilities.

Very good if steam room, ice abd sauna all working. Sometimes happens something is out of order.some very good therapists I've had. Never had a, bad one.all been very good here! Shame prices have all gone up and the 3hrs is now 2hrs only. Only Fridays I think is only women too...will try and book a,session soon but think was fully booked before christmas/ new year- expected!!

Visited a few years ago with font memories and was a bit shocked how much it has aged. Several hot steam rooms, sauna, plunge pool, and bucket shower are still there and fine but the hot room needs retiling. The walkway between rest area and lounge was flooded - maybe a leak? It was quite slippery and dangerous as a result.The lounge needs some more frequent towel changing too, all were wet and in other spa's staff come by and replace them regularly.On the positive side, I had a very pleasant and well priced massage by Anna.

Lovely little spa. OK, it's not fancy, but it has all the things and plenty of space, and I love the area for lounging on hot tiles. I think previous reviews were unfair - don't be put off. (If you're looking for super shiny and hoity toity then pay your money and go to the Four Seasons). The only thing I disliked was how rude and unwelcoming the girl on reception was, otherwise this is a gem.
