Amarillo Guesthouse

Can’t recommend this guesthouse enough! both Jane and Jed were very friendly made us feel welcomed and looked after us well. Breakfast was outstanding. Rooms were very clean and bed was very comfy.

Just had a lovely weeks stay at Amarillo. We couldn’t recommend this lovely place enough. Jane and Ged made us so welcome and the breakfasts were lovely with something for everyone ( even made my husband a fried breakfast for his birthday! ) They are both very knowledgable of what’s on and where to eat, and treat each and every guest as individuals and take interest in everyone.Our room was lovely,quirky and clean and would love to stay here again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Ged and Jane were very welcoming and friendly. The decor was stylish and modern. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. Continental breakfast was delicious and they couldn't do enough for us. Excellent location to explore Dorset and ample parking. Would definitely recommend and hope to return here.

The best B&B experience you could ask for. Brilliant quirky rooms, comfy beds, great shower and the best hosts. Breakfast is lovely and you feel treated so well and cared for during your stay. Highly recommended for anyone as a couple or solo traveler.

Everything you needed for a relaxing stay.Plenty of in room tea/coffee toiletries, hairdryer and even robes.Breakfast a feast of buffet delights with unlimited tea and coffee along with friendly chat local knowledge and background music to add to the overall atmosphere.Definitely would stay again and recommend highly

My partner and I had to leave our other accommodation because it was awful. We didn’t have anywhere to go. We were so lucky to have Jane and Ged welcome us at such a late time and last minute. They were amazing and kind from the moment we contacted them all the way through until we left. They were accommodating, kind, friendly and understanding. You can feel the love they put into their guesthouse and their work. I’ve never experienced anything like it. It felt as if it was a home from home, which is situated perfectly if you want a seaside getaway.

The hosts, Ged and Jane are very friendly and welcoming. We had a fantastic stay. They were exceptionally thoughtful, my partner received a birthday surprise left in our room (balloons, cupcakes and Prosecco) I would highly recommend this guesthouse. It's great for couples on a weekend away. The breakfast is also delicious! We will definitely be back :)

When staying away, I always hope for a quiet location, clean room, powerful shower, dark curtains, comfy bed, great food and warm welcome. This stay had the whole lot! This is one of the best B&Bs I've ever stayed at. Many thanks to Ged and Jane for making our stay so enjoyable!

We stayed at the Amarillo on a Saturday, as check in was mid-afternoon and we had a previous engagement they let us arrive at 11am to book in. Upon arrival it is exquisitely furnished and we loved the big Christmas tree and decorations it was very welcoming. After easy check in we were shown to our room, we asked about the area and they gave us very useful information and directions. The owners Jane and Ged are very pleasant people and always willing to help. We had the main front bedroom and it is very beautiful and tasteful. We opted for a cooked breakfast and we are glad we did as it was very nice, although the breakfast bar was very plentiful, they also catered for myself and provided gluten free toast. We shall most definitely be staying again now we have found this little gem in Bournemouth, which is very convenient to the beach only 8 minutes’ walk away and if you go right from the beach it takes you into town.
