The Ocean Project

Well, as luck would have it Shaun and Roger opened a shop a few miles away from our house earlier this year - result! They have been there from day one for us, so we could order, and help install our tank, supply the tank fittings and dry goods. Having worked in the industry myself, I have a lot of respect for a shop that won't let you leave without giving resolution to a problem, or with the wrong livestock. The staff are also very knowledgeable and helpful too. Where else is there better to hang out, and have a friendly laugh and geek it up about corals and fish. I'd say this is one of the best! This shop is definitely worth a visit.

I was going to a friend's wedding just this weekend in Verwood and coincidentally The Ocean Project was just 5 mins away, unfortunately being in Lincoln 4+ hours away visiting normally would be a tough ask. So I was determined to visit after what I'd seen online and heard. I'd called ahead as there was a great deal on Corals happening the week prior. Shaun was fantastic all round, he honoured the sale that was on, despite it being a week late for it and he sorted out some fantastic pieces of SPS for me. Really nice fella, really good advice that he's happy to share & engage, really nice shop, great selection of corals all in all just a top quality place to go. Bottom line, if you know the Ocean Project, then you know, you don't need telling. & if you don't know, you should. It's that good. Thanks, the corals look great, great shop and staff.

Absolutely love this place. I've never been to the shop in person as i live West Midlands, only ever shopped online. But buying corals online has been hit and miss for me.But never from The Ocean Project the service really is 5 star. There corals are true to the stock pics if not better (Absolutely stunning) dont think i'd buy another sps coral from anywhere else.I don't ever do reviews but this place is a must. Keep up the fantastic work The ocean project. Thank you.

Simply the best! I wish they were closer! The coral selection at Ocean Project is sublime, you've got to be quick ordering on their site as pieces get snapped up in no time! Had 3 or 4 orders delivered now without an issue and my tank is brimming with some fantastic SPS pieces! Thanks guys!

Shaun and the team are second to none. The shop is a treasure trove of outstanding livestock, from SPS & LPS to fish, inverts and everything in between. We’ll worth a trip to check out the stock in person, the folks are always so helpful and knowledgeable. I cannot recommend The Ocean Project highly enough.

Shaun is a fantastic ,one in a million type of guy .A couple of days ago he spent almost 5 hours helping me to move a 1300 litre marine aquarium in a very tricky house into a van to transport over to Manchester .I was lucky enough to get to have a good chat with him , and his knowledge in all things aquatic is amazing.I will definitely make a day trip to his business THE OCEAN PROJECT , even though he’s almost 6 hrs from Manchester .
