The Captains Table
Easily the tastiest stew I have ever had since being a kid, to the point that we've repeat visited just for that for tables of four of us. The fish and chips and other meals look great when served near us, and hear good things from those that had them. Weird-but-cool wooden booths on one half of the room. Down to earth and lovely staff. Affordable, speedy, clearly popular.

New doo! Definitely in line with their decor but who’s here for decor anyway; I’m her for the grab.We grabbed a pasty bap (always provided with some chips) and a cod supper with the works. Two of the best fish you’ll get battered in Northern Ireland.Foods beaut if you sit in and fast but they do have a slight problem with giving ends of chips which for me is a complete waste but others who enjoy this; come on Down.

ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE!! we ordered a delivery of Hawaiian burger and chips... the flat cardboard burger came with NOTHING only a few small pieces of pineapple!! no sauce, no salad, no cheese, freezing and it was DISGUSTING!!! this is the second time weve had a horrible meal from here, we tried again thinking the first time was a one off, but it wasnt! this place is awful, order elsewhere people!!

A very tasty range of food that is reasonably priced for their substantial portions. Be prepared to wait a while on busy periods as the chippy is very popular with customers both taking away and sitting in.

Food's lovely but the last few times we have ordered from here either something has been missing or it took almost 2 hours to be delivered. One delivery driver even realised he forgot our drink and said he'd bring it with the next delivery only to not come back at all. Getting fed up having to ring the store

I had someone served in front of me 3 times in a row now.First 'apology' I was made to feel stupid being told my particular dish took lfar longer to serve than the person served before me, even though they had the same dish.Second time I had to remind them of my order served. Someone after me was served first just cause they knew them. I explained nicely what had happened but they said nothing then served ne without apology. Just looked through me. I hardly think soup takes longer than a fish to cook.Third time the server laughed and said they'd given my order to someone else by mistake no apology. I waited 20 mins when the person behind me was served in 5.Awful service. I won't be back.

Ridiculous service. Staffs attitude is a joke. Have been going here for years and definitely won't be back. Food cold. 30 minute wait time. Nothing can be done. A large family uses this chippy and I can promise none of us will be returning.

Have been eating out of here for a few years now, the best for a cod for sure, unfortunatley im taking stars off as the past few times ordering or collecting from here dips and sauces are missing and a few occassions sausages missing! I have just arrived home after spending short of £40 .. 2 garlic dips missing, i had ordered a cod supper and a single cod, once opening the only difference is handful more of chips in the box, bit dissapointing considering the extra paid for the supper,chips abit hard today also, the kebab meat has alot of burnt bits in it and with no sauce for it a dissapointed son, hopfully the staff can take it on board and double check their orders before sending away, it is a real put off considering prices these days.

Good food, generous portions and a big selection of dishes in the menu. It's quite busy and popular. Recommendable.
