Amazing service and really lovely staff. Michelle Reed is particularly helpful and always goes the extra mile to assist.I have taken several pieces of jewellery in to be repaired and each piece has been professionally and expertly mended.I always recommend GA in George Street to friends.A friend of mine took some old jewellery in the have made into something else and she had a beautiful gold drop pendant made. Absolutely gorgeous.

Such helpful, empathetic staff and I wouldn't hesitate to use them again and recommend them to others. They offered a very competitive rate for selling gold( one jewellers in the Lanes had even refused to give the exchange rate over the phone!) I also had some rings sized and was told to allow14 days. To my delight they were ready after only 2 days! Excellent customer service.

Delightful shop and outstanding customer service. I went in to enquire about a watch strap, and had it mended on the spot by a lovely gentleman, who ended up not charging me. Since then, I have had a gold ring repaired by them, which I thought could never be mended.. looks like new. Thank you Gold Arts!

Thank you so much for outstanding service. I damaged my watch and ran into the shop 10 minutes before closing on a Friday evening. They saved my Rolex and it was ready for collection the next day. Very trustworthy and lots of options in store also. Will only use this jewellers from now on! Thanks again x

This shop is a real find - the customer service is brilliant! Michelle was friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable and helpful. I discovered the shop just before Christmas when they did a rush job for a Christmas present in super quick time - which I really appreciated. I have since been back again and received the same level care and attention this is a real gem of a local customer centric service which is a very rare find nowadays. I will certainly use the shop again.

(Very!) old engagement ring mended beautifully. I was really pleased with the workmanship on the ring, which has more sentimental value than actual value. All the staff were very helpful and informative.

I took my necklace in for repair and Michelle was super helpful and very personable, explained the cost and how long it would take and repaired a broken anklet for free whilst I was there. The necklace was repaired just a few days later, quicker than anticipated. Really good service.

This is a gem of a shop which I can't praise highly enough for the brilliant bracelet custom-made by Stephen and, recently, for the tiniest, most delicate repair of an earring. What stands out is the collaborative way the staff work with the customer. They listen, discuss and advise the best way to achieve what you want, even when you go in with just the outline of an idea. For me, it's the go-to place for something different and unique.
