Nice strawberries if find the good ones. Especially like the fact they are up on stands so don't have to get down on hands and knees and they are not going mouldy I'm the mud. Also half of them under green house canopees too so great if a bit rainy. Play Park for under 10s I would say and cafe is nice touch too.

I won’t start with the tenant part I’ll start with the good and the reason this place gets more than 1 star. The play park is now free (used to charge £2.50 per child to use) and it’s a lovely little play park with a sand pit, climbing grams, swings, trampolines and a zip wire. The Strawberry’s also taste very nice too.So onto the reason why I only give this PYO site 2 stars. As you leave the car park the first things you are greeted with are signposts. The first stating “NO PICNICS”. So here is my first massive issue with this place as a family outing. The cafe is well to small for the location not to allow picnic and bringing your own food. Today they stopped serving altogether as they said they where too busy. The menu has no child portions options so you need to pay adult prices for kids, menu also did not cater for all as no Gluten free options, no Halal options and no kosher options.I paid £3.10 for the worst latte I have ever tasted. The second sign I had an issue with was the condition of entry sign that said “Condition of entry No Eating (of the strawberry’s)”. I’m sure they lose more stock to wildlife then people eating the occasional strawberry from their farm.

I adore taking the family here !!I wish I could visit more often. This time was a little less fruitful then others … however I attributed it to the sporadic heat waves and downpours recently. The staff are friendly enough and there is a lots of things to entertain the little ones.Including a cafe and small shop for fresh produce for the adults. We’ll worth a visit !!

Went pumpkin picking with schoolI was expecting pumpkins to be mega expensive, but they were actually OK.It's good for children to see where pumpkins actually come from, not just supermarkets in a big box.Any staff I spoke to were polite and helpfulHot drink in the cafe at a reasonable price.Nice play area, and our children had a fab timeEven picked myself up some mini pumpkins for autumnal display at home.Lovely time had by all

My 4 years old son really enjoyed the day at Bourne valley. Amazingly friendly and kind staffs. There is a little play area for children but my boy enjoyed the hay stack the most.

This is nice and local to us albeit down some tight lanes who's upkeep is questionable in places. Drivers are usually pretty courteous though, unless they have someone's amazon basics parcel to deliver.Once on site there is plenty of parking that is hard packed so not an issue when wet. There's a little cafe on site but we haven't used it yet and the pick-your-own is as easy grabbing a container or wheelbarrow and heading off into the farm.Prices are reasonable and the fruit/veg/pumpkins are always good quality. The play park is a good size with lots of covered seating for parents.A nice hour or two out in the fresh air.

Great customer service and easy self service so you can get out into the field quickly. Limited fruit selection but several rows of strawberries and a couple rows of sparsely planted, disease ridden raspberries. They are no more or less than what is stated on their website.

Very well laid out with lots of varieties of pumpkin available. Wheel barrows provided. Children's activity area and plenty of parking.
