Backed up against a terrace, you could be forgiven this is just another pub?But they have a lovely setting out the back, which is lit with some covered seating and garden growing naturally for wildlife. Good bears including a lemon pale ale. Unusual to say the least.

Jordan was amazing served drinks came with our meals the food was cooked prefect would recommend their home made chips amazing scampi. Will be back with the children soon x

Different seating areas... bar, lounge, conservatory, beer patio/garden.Peaceful, simple and nice.Very good value food.After your visit... lovely views of yachts on the water and across the waters.Dog friendly but wasn't full of dogs.All good for a recluse location.

Charming pub in a quiet corner of town, well worth a visit. Good range of beers, good menu with a good variety of specials. If the weather is right the beer garden is a real highlight

Met up with few friends on a Monday evening ,pub quite busy, nice atmosphere. Pub darts match on.Food looked good although we did not eat there.Tucked away in Turnchapel.l

We enjoyed a lovely roast here, late one Sunday afternoon about 3pm.The meat was a smaller portion, and that could have been due to the time we arrived for food. This mattered more to my husband. However, I was delighted with the eleventy million types of veg and quantity. Cauliflower cheese, carrots, squashed swede, cabbage, broccoli, and at least one other, I've forgotten. We ordered Yorkshire with a chicken roast, which was forgotten by the kitchen and us as I was busy eating, so there was no terrible loss. I'd definitely go back. The service was great, they came to check we were happy, food was piping hot and delicious.We ate in the garden, which had the woods to the back, birds singing and sun shining in. A garden swing was perfect to enjoy after our 7-mile walk, with a gin, of course.I would love to try their other food but will surely have another roast too.

Very good, Pub food .Polite friendly staff .Reasonable priceGood selection of drinks.The reason it didn't get all 5 stars , it's Dog friendly , sorry dog lovers , but if you can't control the animal, stay away from Public eating places .At this point I should mention the evening was spent with friends, with 2 very well behaved dogs. Woof woof

The Hunters chicken is amazing. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Next time I'm in Plymouth will definitely be coming back. Five stars.
