Great experience from start to finish with this family-run business. I'd had very poor communication from practically every other insulation company I had contacted. Not the case here. I initially spoke to Mark, who arranged a site survey within a few days. When he visited the property, he answered any questions I had and gave me a rough idea of the price there and then. A quote quickly followed (at a reasonable price) and the work was agreed upon, with a start date set. The team turned up when they said they would, they communicated well with me throughout and finished the works in a timely manner. Friendly and professional throughout. Thank you to the whole team. Would recommend.

Had Richard from Insulation Direct visit to survey a job to insulate the loft and underfloor. Richard was friendly, informative and professional. I immediately took to him as he was very genuine - rare attribute these days. A quote for the work was provided which was competitive so decided to go ahead with it. Richard and Danny came on the day scheduled and performed the jobs. Both performed admirably especially as the underfloor work was challenging - they are assets to the company. The whole experience with them and the people in the office was excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend this company to others. We had a loft top up and underfloor insulation installed by Insulation Direct. I pulled up some boards to look at the underfloor installation as it was put in place rather quickly; The insulation installed underfloor had no netting in place to support it and in some places had just been jammed down, bridging the gap between the sub floor and the suspended timber (this could allow damp to rise up) no consideration was given to retaining airflow under the floor, air bricks were blocked with insulation, which could also cause damp issues. There were runs of insulation entirely missing. Insulation Direct had two opportunities to fix the work, the first time I left a key and nothing really was changed when I went back to check, one more run of insulation was installed in a previously missed spot but this wasn't supported with netting. The second time I had to take a day off of work to be present at the property (as requested by the customer services team) but nobody showed up until 1pm , I was then told it was at least 1/2 a days more work to put the job right by the same people who hadn't fixed things on the previous visit. Essentially do not trust this company to install insulation where you cannot easily inspect it, the work that was carried out was a joke and we ended up having to pay for the insulation they installed badly, I have fixed it now but it was a lot of work for me. The loft insulation was fine.

Excellent, prompt service. Great communication - actually responded to calls and emails and turned up exactly when they said they would. Could not fault any aspect of the job. The very reasonable rates were an extra bonus. Highly recommend!

Having agreed an early time for them to come to quote the job so that there was no risk of them being late, they did not turn up at the agreed time. I called 15 mins after they were meant to arrive (as they hadn't called) to be told they were going to be an hour late.As with most people, I had to book time off work be there for the appointment which was now a complete waste of time. Poor customer service. Lots of other companies in local area that do similar work.

Rich and his workmate arrived on time and did an excellent job of insulating my attic without any fuss and in a timely manner. I explained about a dampness concern in the corners: they investigated, took photos to show me and suggested a likely cause; moving the old insulation which had become pushed up against the roof. The earthwool insulation was neatly installed along with vents around the outer edges. They took photos during and at the end of the installation and came down to show me at regular intervals. They were pleasant and cheerful throughout and extremely informative. Nothing was too much trouble.

This morning Richard and James insulated our loft. They were consumate professionals. Polite and respectful.Also advised.on how to use loft feet when putting boards down. Would highly recommend.

This company was brilliant. They efficiently estimated my loft upgrade price, replaced previous boarding which was not to standard and installed in a speedy manner. Jacob was one of the most polite tradesmen I have dealt with. After a couple of weeks there was some condensation but the company came back and fitted vents which Has sorted the problem. I highly recommend.

Had rich and his work colleague come and check our solar panel installation today and they were both very friendly and professional. They very kindly topped up our insulation in the loft. Lovely gentlemen. Very good service. Very happy. Thank you
