Slough Climbing Wall

First time booking for my daughter's (10th) birthday. The children loved it, having had no prior experience. Both instructions were patient and gave the party of 6 a wonderful first time experience. Would highly recommend, great value and fun activity.

I can really recommend this wall and the climbing coach Tom. Tom is a fantastic teacher and has great teaching skills and huge amounts of knowledge. He is able to tailor his coaching style for both adults and children. It is a small wall that is able to provide a varied level of routes with some good overhang features. I would highly recommend a visit.

Interesting wall, lots of variety and well maintained. Best of all - Tom is a superb instructor - very competent and experienced, welcoming to all levels of climber, great teacher, passionate and thoughtful about what he does, and above all he creates a very safe environment. Tom tailors his teaching very much to the ability of the climber. I've been climbing on and off for a number of years, but learnt more from Tom in an hour than I had done in all my experience previously. I trust him completely and would thoroughly recommend Kuluar to any would-be or current climbers that want to learn and improve.

Was offered a taster session on a walk in visit for 3 people, paid and signed the waiver then briefed on safety etc to only then find out that it is one wall to share! When I questioned why this was not explained to us the guy tried putting the blame on me by saying we are over booked and giving you a wall each is not fair on others, then within the same sentence he said if you want a wall each pay us £10 more where it was confusing because he just said he was over booked. When he saw that we weren’t happy that I wasn’t happy he gave us another wall so I was only able to go with one child at a time which is not what the kids wanted, and one person always sat out so why did we pay for 3

First time we went along today. Tom the instructor and his team were excellent, very attentive with the children. Good value compared with other climbing walls. Will go back again. A great experience for kids and adults alike.

Avoid at all costs! the manager is an absolutely waste of time. Ignored at the desk for 10-15 minutes everytime we go there. The bald guy is just so rude and clueless about customer service. When told that the service was not good, he laughed at me. The quality is generally quite poor, and we don't get the right time when we go. Avoid this place, there are better and more friendly places.

We booked an instructor led session for 2 adults and 3 children; all of us novices. Tom our instructor was fantastic. He helped us all and made the hour session fun and challenging. We'll definitely be booking again.

Awesome for children and adults. Wear comfortable sports clothing

Having recently moved to the area this climbing wall is great. A relatively short walk from the train station and has a variety of problems ranging from 4-7+. Recently 2 auto-belays were installed so you can definitely go alone. However if you want to meet people they have a great adult social climbing session on Thursday evenings, there are also options for child climbing sessions. Tom (the instructor) is very professional and makes a very safe and fun environment. I highly recommend this place.

Don't listen to the bad reviews as Tom is a true professional...an expert who is thoughtful, funny and a great teacher to both adults (of all levels) & kids alike. Always a nice vibe & the other climbers are so friendly and inclusive
