Barras Bridge Post Office

Always come here to post my things, never once have I had a bad experience. The staff are always so friendly and polite. Prices are fair and the staff always make sure I know all the prices.

Absolutely amazing place. Staff are great really friendly and nothing is to much trouble. I use the place everyday Monday through Friday. Couldn't be happier with the service I have received. Highly Recommend.

Always lovely customer service, I've been on multiple occasions now.Amazing opening hours and doesn't charge ANY more than WHS Smith Post Office like some other reviews seem to suggest.

I've used this post office for a number of years, because it's convenient and I need to send parcels. Unfortunately the post office counter staff I've experienced are so unfriendly. Yes, they deliver a professional service, but you get the impression that they hate their job, and that you're an inconvenience to them. I try to be jolly and friendly but it's like pulling teeth. It's a shame, because the staff on the newsagents counter (& the other postal counter) are quite the opposite.

Staff were so kind. I couldn't see my family this Christmas so had to post gifts to them , I was devastated I got carried away buying the gifts and only had a few minutes to pack them when I got to the post office. They were supposed to shut at 6.30 but they stayed open to wait for me, thank you. God bless them all, it means so much to be able to send those gifts.

Miserable staff with terrible attitude, possible human snail hybrid works there, and I agree with other reviewers she positively drools when the queue builds up and finds extra things to cause even more delay for you. Much nicer down the street but unfortunately not open convenient time s for me. Noticed another reviewer say they don't overcharge people but how can she credibly speak for everyone? I have seen it with my own eyes - they are supposed to allow a package to drop through the sizer by gravity but she just poked at it half heartedly. This can end up costing £2 more. And they may have been told to do this but that's irrelevant. It's still over charging.

What a thoroughly unpleasant, unhelpful and rude man behind the counter. Do they bother training staff in customer service at the Post Office anymore?If he studied at the Charm School then he should sue them

I have used this Post Office a lot over the past 3 years, but time and time again, the female employee that works here with glasses and very short hair is so, so rude! Many times she has communicated in a very impolite manner, which is inexcusable given her role within the customer service industry. She's also unhelpful and carries a miserable attitude. It is a shame as the majority of staff are nice (although I have encountered similar issues regarding being overcharged), especially the other female member of staff with glasses and a fringe, but this employee lets the establishment down. For this reason I will be AVOIDING this Post Office from now on as she makes my visits so uncomfortable, and instead I will be using the WHSmith Post Office, as well as submitting a formal complaint. A massive shame.

So a while ago I gave this place a 5 star review. Unfortunately in the last year their attitude has changed. From using their undoubted knowledge to help customers, they now use it to avoid serving customers as much as possible. The Post Office and Royal Mail are pushing customers to buy postage online as much as possible, which obviously means the individual offices don't get hold of our money. This Post Office is reacting to that by finding any excuse they can to avoid helping us.Go to the Post Office in WHSmiths just down the street instead - great staff, great service.

Really nice staff very helpfull and there opening hrs are fantastic! ie it opens 06:30 on a Sunday! Great service. Even tho the main post office on Northumberland St in WH SMITHS is nearer I go to this one as I feel I am also supporting a hard working family buissnes
