Right in the heart of the city so mostly popular with local workers for their lunches and post work drinks. Has quite a few large screens so not a bad place to watch sport. Not the best location as it’s down an alley so can be a bit shaded but it has plenty of seats and is no frills

The staff were so nice, friendly but at the same time efficient and it was busy. The food was delicious. Plenty of choice and came on time. Perhaps the tables need wiped down and cleared quicker

1pm on a Monday, surprised how quiet they were. just stopped for a pint. Prices up but suppose so is everywhere, £5.65 a pint. EDIT following owners response. I do like the auctioneers just on this occasion it was quiet, so atmosphere I pegged in the middle, the service was 5 we had no food hence no stars, if it said food and drink then its a 5. I said we were only in for a pint, I like Joker IPA one of my favourites

Brilliant live music and atmosphere! If you love spicy food then I recommend the pork bao buns and dirty fries as there was loads of raw jalapeños and was perfect for me. My only criticism is that there isn't as much seating and it was with luck a woman leaving noticed my friend and I trying to find somewhere and offered us her table. Even if you don't get a seat the bar is great to drink at

This innovative service allowed us to skip the crowded bar and effortlessly order our drinks right from our seats. The process was smooth, quick, and error-free, ensuring that we could focus on enjoying the festivities rather than waiting in line.Not only were the drinks reasonably priced, but they also arrived promptly, further contributing to the overall positive experience. Though our time at the pub was relatively short, it served as the ideal starting point for our night out.For anyone planning a visit, especially during peak times, I highly recommend booking in advance to secure a table. It's a small effort that guarantees a comfortable spot and allows you to make the most of your time at this fantastic venue. Cheers to a great start to the night!

My acoustic duo were booked for 5.30 - 7.30 on a Friday night. The venue had an amazing atmosphere with lots of people keen to hear live music! There is a great space for the setup with raised platform & plenty of room for us & equipment. The booker is extremely helpful & answered any questions prior. Would highly recommend for soloists, duos or trios who would like to perform live in a city centre pub.
