I found Ripples by accident. Great range of dry and wet stock. Covering all needs.Great range of products ranging from JBL , Tetra , Seachem etc.I have moved to buy alot of my products from here.Area of improvement:Maybe have someone on the till at all times and staff serving hand over to the till assistant to purchase and pay. You can often wait a while to get served for fish.Will continue to use as I love this place.

The dirtiest retail aquatic tanks I’ve ever seen! The staff stand around doing nothing whilst customers can barely see the livestock through the algae on the tanks. They should take a lesson from ripples at Shenstone, who’s tanks are perfectly maintained and a credit to the staff there.

Lack of care for the welfare of the marine fish. A jewel puffer placed in the same tank as a small Toby puffer. Toby puffer getting hammered by the jewel puffer till nearly dead. Raised it with staff, response' it shouldn't be in there' and then did nothing about it. Disgusting.

Best fish store in Staffordshire and trust me I've visited all of them. Very knowledgeable staff who are also very friendly. Bought 7 fish in total over the past 4 weeks and I couldn't be happier.

Okay selection of livestock and very competitive prices on livestock. Dry goods however are MASSIVELY overpriced. Charging almost double what tanks, heaters, food are worth.

Some times a bit hit and miss with this shop. Only been a handful of time and the first time the guy in there was very helpful the second and third time I did not ask for any help but was approached a few time by different people while looking one of these people I asked a few questions about lighting and then quickly realised he did not really know much more then I did.This shops saving grace is the price of fish, normally have most of the common variates of fish in stock and all look health and are a reasonable price.This one is located in planters Garde centre, which is a lovely setting to complement the visit to the aquatics shop.

Sadly disappointing if you are looking for anything marine related. Marine tanks were tired looking, unkempt & dirty with minimal fish that looked emancipated, whereas the tropical selection was far better with more time & effort put in to them. Not impressed we'd driven 25 miles to this place to find hardly any marine products or fish.

Previously I was less than impressed at Ripples.... dead fish (numerous in nearly every tank), dust and dirt on display tanks, damp and mould everywhere. Beta fish in together or in joined tanks meaning some were shredded, a couple were actually fighting and others had killed themselves against the glass.However, we visited on Sunday and I was pleasantly surprised at how much the place seems to of improved! Much cleaner and all fish seemed much happier! My kids disnt spot a single dead fish (an actual game they made from trips to ripples).Credit where credit is due.... the whole place is looking 1000% times better! Well done guys

The shop has been significantly reduced in size but they have a great range of goods and what you need they have or they will get you. The staff are absolutely superb.

Terrible place. We brought 16 tropical fish for my daughter. Tank was set up as per instructions. Three days after putting the fish in they start dying. Half of them have white spot and four of the fish require worms as they don’t eat tropical flakes but we wasn’t advised on this. My daughter is heartbroken. Phone up and told to bring in water and the dead fish. My daughter wanted to bury them so no dead bodies. Never buying form this place again. Dead fish in most the tanks and tanks were grubby and the love plants have now predicted snails on my tank.
