I had an absolutely great experience at metro I felt welcomed as I walked in.there is such a good atmosphere and I met Fraser who is very professional and a great laugh at the same time he explained everything to me about setting up my business account which is supposed to be a long boring process however we had a great time. best decision I made was to use this bank. The only bank you will walk out of with a smile. Thanks Fraser!!

Really poor customer service from Sam today. Told me to my face, business customers come first as they are more important. We are all customers and it’s poor service to distinguish like this. Shame on you. It’s not downtown abbey!

Came in a few weeks ago to open a young savers account for my little boy. Luckily I had the pleasure of dealing with Zain who could not have been more helpful throughout the whole process and the store tour. Very polite and he knows his stuff. Overall a great experience, and the free coffee was a nice treat. Thanks Zain, will recommend my friends come see you!

As a small business owner I have been continually impressed with Metro Bank. Having used 3 other traditional banks in the last 21 years I can confidently and professionally compare them. They are a locally focused, well run branch with a great central office backing them up.

A pleasant place to Bank.Staff are friendly and helpful.I was allowed to sit at one of their desks to complete some unrelated business without anyone watching. We needed a credit card to hire a car for our holiday once and the application and printing of the card are done on site. It took 30 minutes. Start to finish. Not bad at all. It saved the holiday. We have set up an account for our 11 year old child that you decide what they can and can't do with it.You can get a safety deposit box in many sizes and rent it for a week or a lifetime,these are displayed in the centre of the bankYes they let dogs in and provide water for them. They have free, amazing, cherry flavoured lollypops. I grab a few every time I'm in there. There's a clean modern toilet for use, again, I've used when not doing banking.When I phone Metro Bank it doesn't even ring. Someone, a human being , will always answer straight away and provide advice towards any related question.Banking isn't really a fun thing to do, however, Metro Bank, in St Albans has got to be the best experience you'll ever have regarding your money and security of things of value. Including your sanity.You should consider them.

I love this BankI didn't know it. The las week I was looking for a bank to open a new account at St Albans.I entered to the office and I felt at home. One manager attended me and he informed to wait few minutes and he advise to one person.My agent is Keith O'Connell. He's a amazing person on professional way and personal way. He's helping to handle the new account. He's friendly and kindly person. Thanks MetroBank to feel happy each time I Arrive to the office.I recommend it. Great persons and the banks has a dog, Sir Duffield @sirduffield. So lovely...

Tried to open accounts for my kids (I have 3), called 30mins beforehand and was told to come in and it was a quick process"

I wanted some information regarding Metro bank accounts. I went in there and ended up opening an account with the help of Zain.He was very helpful.In all I had a good shopping experience.Thank you.

I opened account around two months ago and never had any problem. Staff is very efficient and helpful. They solve issues while I sit and wait which is very impressive.. Inside looks like a high end coffee shop, always clean and tidy. Only thing missing is coffee machine

Worst experience with a bank. Please don't be bothered if you are being served by ZAIN, a male staff. He is so unhelpful and uninterested in your matter. Very impolite and no smile for the duration of 2 hours considering he works in customer service. Unknowledgeable about the products and services offered by Metro Bank. Insisted that we have to download app to create an online account, but that is so untrue. Unfriendly and never offered gifts to children opening new bank account. Took us almost 2 hours to open a new bank account. However, all the other staffs were friendly and helpful especially the branch manager Charlene. The magic money is good in encouraging young ones to start savings, however, the screen is too high and my 8 years old can't even reach the screen. Metro bank should look into this. Happy with the opening hours and would suggest you go after 6pm on weekdays, which is less quiet and recommend you deal with a lady and stay away from ZAIN. Thank you
