While visiting David Lloyd in Ipswich I was attended by Luke, what a lovely guy with vast gym knowledge. He looked after me well , showed around the gym explaining very well all different packages and offer, he is very professional and make you feel at ease. He gave me a five star service. With a view to a future membership at David Lloyd Ipswich, I took a tour of the club with Luke. With his friendly welcome, candid answers to my questions, and absolute understanding of what I was looking for in a health club, he could not have made my visit more enjoyable and informative. His professionalism and knowledge really shone through. I was thoroughly impressed with all that the club has to offer, and top marks also for the cleanliness of the place. Luke is a huge asset to the club, with a clear passion and flair for exemplary customer service. Suffice to say that I will be submitting my membership application.

I was warmly welcomed initially by the front reception staff before being introduced to Kate who confidently answered all my questions/queries whilst simultaneously sharing key information about the facility which ultimately determined my decision to join there and then. I was immediately impressed with her excellent customer care skills and welcoming personality/ nature, which remained consistent throughout our meeting. She quickly ascertained what I hoped to gain from my membership and was then able to evidence via showing me around the complex and highlighting service provision how my needs could be addressed and then some. What I found nice was how she did rush or pressure me into making my decision and indeed gave the impression that she was willing to invest as much of her time as I needed, so as to make an informed decision. Although I am trying not to be ageist, I was equally impressed with her interpersonal skills, given there is evidently a wide age gap to say the least between our ages.Due to my personal experiences I have already booked a meeting between Kate and my partner, but unlike myself she works full time, does not live locally and therefore her availability to take advantage of the wonderful facilities may not be viable. I may potentially just have to enjoy DaviD Lloyd’s for the both of us!Bless & judged on my experience would highly recommend you at least check out what advantages the service can offer you.Karl

I don’t typically leave reviews as most places provide standard service. However, the staff at David Lloyd Ipswich consistently goes above and beyond.They are always warm and welcoming giving me a feeling of being more than just a customer but a friend, as well.Particularly a lovely young woman, Kerry Bestow, who seems to always cheer me up with her joyous, energetic personality and witty banter.The gym itself is fantastic and holds true to the David Lloyd brand. The employees are what separates it from the pack, making it a wonderful family environment.There are too many to name but the ones I’ve had interaction with have all been amazing and are never short of smiles to give.So just a thank you to Tracey, Vicky and Kerry for making it feel like more than just a gym.

I recently joined the club with my husband and two children. All of the staff have be very welcoming, friendly and helpful. I have done a few different classes since joining, and tried Rhythm today for the first time with Bradley and it was the BEST indoor cycling class I have ever done!! Bradley took the time to explain the class to me, as a new member, and was very welcoming! He kept the group motivated and engaged, and really made us work!! I can't wait to do his class again!

I had a great time here visiting from the Chigwell brunch… whilst traveling for work. Got to do two of my classes that I would have missed at my local.The body pump class with Mags Z.. she was lovely and also had Stretch and mobility class with Mags. If you a member or thinking of becoming one I would recommend Body pump at 17:05 and Stretch and Mobility at 18:05 with Mags Z on ThursdaysThe receptionist was great with directing me as it was my first time at the club.I had a great time here too.. now whenever I am in Ipswich for work I know I can keep up with my scheduled classes

David Lloyd Leisure Club has exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcomed and motivated. The facilities are state-of-the-art, always clean, and well-maintained. The variety of fitness classes and equipment caters to all levels of fitness enthusiasts.The facilities are fantastic, but what truly sets this club apart is the outstanding service, especially from the membership manager, Tel. His dedication and professionalism made the joining process seamless and enjoyable.I wholeheartedly recommend David Lloyd Leisure Club to anyone looking for a top-notch fitness facility and a supportive community. Five stars without a doubt!

I recently joined David Lloyd Ipswich after a two week trial. The membership consultant, Luke, was absolutely fantastic - he answered my many questions, made the effort to remember details about me and my family and nothing was too much trouble. The club itself is great and I’m really enjoying the range of classes and facilities. I’ve also had a few personal training sessions with Toby who’s been fab - he’s tailored the sessions to my needs and made the gym a much less daunting place.

Shout out to Cassie Drake. Her classes are amazing! In both Aqua and Dance Fitness she has boundless energy and creates the most enjoyable exercise routines, both physically challenging and mentally uplifting. She is a real asset to the club.
