Went in to store to collect an order I placed online ,we was greeted by a very friendly gentleman named Dave a manager at the store. He was really helpful in demonstrating how to strap in car seat for safety. Also just friendly chat to me and partner also my 4 year old daughter . Fantastic service keep up the good work

I required a new battery for my Ford Focus and went to the Braintree Freeport branch. I spoke to Max who was very helpful and booked me in straight away. Not only was I able to get the battery replaced but Max was able to save me the fitting fee by offering me a motoring club membership! Dave took me through the details and booked an appointment for my next MOT. Great Service!

Purchased Roof Box and Rail System from Halfords online and went in to collect. I was informed that if I wanted installation I would have to make an appointment as it was the end of the working day but Scott said he would stay on late and get it installed for me which was greatly appreciated as it saved me another trip. Scott was friendly, funny and completed the job expertly and within the time frame he gave me. Five stars from me all the way!!

We had a bit of a situation where one of our tyres really needed replacing on the morning of a long journey. Dave at Halfords couldn't have been more helpful!!! Really great friendly advice and he really knows his stuff. He got us all sorted perfectly and got us booked in a few minutes later and we were all sorted and back on the road. Some of the best customer service we have received for a long time.

I needed a headlight bulb changed and the gentlemen working on the desk couldn't have been more helpful. I had been sent away from the Chelmsford store when I had a different issue with my vehicle, so was a little wary of heading into the Braintree one. However, they were quick and efficient and were able to even give my car a once over with their vehicle check list. They gave me advise on what to do for my car (getting both headlights changed instead of just the one), however weren't forceful and didn't pressure me to make a decision. They were also able to sort me out with a new rear wiper as mine had worn down. I was super grateful to have a better interaction with the guys at the Braintree store! Will definitely return for any other needs for my car.

(Must keep the French happy, British registered cars can be fair game sometimes) Very friendly and professional service at the Pay Here" desk. So thank you so much. Excellent all round. I gave 4 stars only because the online process is very unnecessary. Bring back dealing when the outlet shops, as they agree as well.After unable to speak to the shop directly, I had to talk to a person the told me what I wanted to hear. I then purchased online with collect in person.Got text to say item ready to collect , got someone to drive me 20 mile round trip.Then was faced with the item on order, ready next day ( on halfords online)When staff was brought up to speed!Found wanted item on shop floor shelf?Took that one home.I had no text to say collect next day, whole mess could have been stopped if I called shop directly..????Please send calls to shops directly to get first hand customer service..thanks to shop worker who was very kind. Mr charged up now!
