The staff were very kind and professional and gave my beautiful boy the best care they could and although tough decisions had to be taken they were very supportive and made every effort to make the process as gentle as possible

Whilst we are obviously extremely grateful to have had a 24 hour vet option when we needed it.Our initial consultation on arrival with our dog who was in a great deal of pain was not what we had expected. The vet spent most of her time on her laptop organising payment and insurance details, before even looking at our dog.Realise this is important but didn’t find it reassuring and we were obviously super anxious. It made us very reluctant to leave our dog as there seemed very little compassion. The reception experience that evening was as cold. The overnight care however seemed much better, we had calls during the night from a vet named Pam who was very knowledgeable and reassuring and we knew then that our dog was in very safe hands.

We spent 5 mins with a vet who sat down and detailed how many thousands of pounds we could end up spending on our Lab who had a chicken bone stuck in her throat, he hardly even looked at her.Whilst waiting back in reception my wife actually ended up dislodging the bone and we were sent home but were still made to pay the £290 'consultation' fee. We felt like we'd just been robbed! It's a racket and should definitely be investigated.

According to this companies insurer. It is perfectly acceptable to have recollection issues" regarding your animals care. I personally don't trust any medical professional if they cannot remember if they did something right or not. Especially if it ended up resulting in a patient's death."

every effort was made to correct Kim's condition but after about 6 hours her condition became rerminal, and I agreed that her life should be terminated and that her remains be cremated.I shall be always be grateful for the efficiency and kindness received from the hospital staff.Dr Raymond Gibbons.

Arrived just after 6pm and the vet seemed disoriented, unable to locate essential equipment. Upon a subsequent visit to a local vet, we discovered that basic details, such as temperature, were not recorded during our appointment. Furthermore, due to the vet's delay in submitting a claim to our insurance provider, the payout was mistakenly directed to them, resulting in an overpayment. Despite our efforts to reach out via email to address the issue, we've received no response.

While the vets themselves are great the prices are insane! Taking massive advantage over people with sick vets, the fact you have to pay additional fees to go through insurance is a complete rip off. Wouldn't attend again unless no other option & pet was in dire need.

Positives: Lizzie the vet, and the support from the staff was fabulous. Communications upon booking good. Although a difficult and busy Boxing Day morning it was clear there is an ethic of care at Vets Now in Chippenham, with service that focused on the needs of the pet and the owner.Negatives: The wait for our pet and therefore for us was too long. The vet present worked tirelessly but the absence of one of two vets through illness undermined the whole experience, and communication once sat waiting was not great. This meant that the overall service was poor value for money, because part of paying such a premium price is service at an acceptable pace.

Vets now were responsible for the death of my dog. They turfed him out of their care when he needed intensive care. He was not allowed to stay at rosemary lodge as he wasn’t registered there, so we had to move him ourselves to his own vet, where he later died. They do not care about the animals, consequences or the toll of the loss of a much loved pet has on a family. Bruce was only 2 & a half years old and had had a standard castration, he was a healthy dog & should not have died. We have since complained and we are being ignored. DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE!!

I found it quite distasteful to be chased for money less than 24 hours after we had had to put our cat to sleep. No one had asked for a deposit two days prior to this, when Vets Now had begun her care. I was in a park on a Sunday afternoon, with my children, who were already very upset at losing their pet when I received the phone call demanding a substantial amount of money to be paid there and then. By contrast, the day service at Bath Vets had been incredibly understanding and had been more than happy for me to complete paperwork and organise finances on the Monday. This experience would make me seek alternative care if we are in the unfortunate position of needing this service again.
