Sharp Physiotherapy

I've practically tried everything the NHS had to offer and specialist Dr. only to achieve short term results where the pain came back more and more aggressively.I coincidentally saw Sharp Physio on social media and thought it won't hurt to try as a last resort, and let me tell you I can honestly say it was life changing, I won't go into too much detail but, I couldn't do simple things like pick up my 2 year old from severe lower back pain. I'm fully pain free and my life is back to normal if not better. I cannot recommend Sam Tompkins enough top man.

Sam was amazing after discovering I had an MCL sprain in the knee. The treatment and advice given was very professional and ensured that I was able to recover quickly without too much disruption. Sam was very friendly and I felt comfortable and at ease with him and I will be returning to him should I have any future problems going forward. I would defiantly recommend Sam and Sharp Physiotherapy to anyone looking for a physiotherapist.

Excellent advice and treatment from Sam at Sharp Physiotherapy which enabled me to improve and heal an achilles tendon problem.Change of medication advice was also conducive to my health improvement.I would fully recommend Sam for his expertise and ability to explain everything in understandable detail .Should the need arise, I would have no qualms in returning for help.

When I developed a pain in my foot that was getting progressively worse I thought I’d try Sharp in North Hykeham purely on the basis that they close. Good choice. I had an assessment with Sam Kirton who diagnosed planar fasciitis. Sam is very pleasant, knows his stuff and is very good at explaining things. He has certainly sorted me out and I have no hesitation in recommending both Sam and Sharp.

After suffering from neck and back pain for a significant amount of time, I made a appointment with Sam Kirton. I must say he is absolutely brilliant. I believe his knowledge to be incredible, especially having perviously been treated by the NHS with whom I was left disappointed. I began to improve from day 1 of Sam’s treatment .With his guidance I have really been able to keep on top of my injury and stop being in pain on a daily basis. I would highly recommend both Sam as a physio and the company as a whole, 5 star service thanks a lot guys!

Over the past year Joe and the team have worked with me in my recovery from a ruptured Achilles. They have taken me from a point of discomfort, limited mobility and low confidence to a fully mobile, normal life that I didn't know I could get back to. The facilities, physios and support team are fantastic, don't hesitate to get in touch with them.

Went to see sharps physio with my back pain as I was in agony struggling with lifting and everyday movements from an impact injury at football. Can’t praise them enough, their knowledge is unreal and taught me so many factors of what could be causing the pain or if I might gain any problems in the future. Also they gave me two options: helping whilst still playing the sports ( which will take a bit longer) or stop playing football and giving me physio as this would decrease recovery time. Within 5 sessions my pain was gone and they helped me keep playing without any discomfort. Can’t thank them enough and definitely will be going back if I get anymore issues in the future.

I saw Sam Kirton to deal with knee pain caused by patella tendinitis. The advice and treatment I received were first class and I'm confident I wouldn't have recovered nearly as well without his help. The purpose of each recovery exercise was clearly explained and so I felt particularly motivated to put in the work to recover.

There are no words to describe how amazing Joe and his team are. Following a car accident around 13 years ago, I've suffered constantly with my shoulder. Prior to visiting Joe, I had limited mobility & couldn't sleep on it at all. It was agony. I was often in tears with it. I tried everything. . . Numerous physios, chiropractor, acupuncture to name but a few. Nothing helped.. surgery made it worse and I was at my wits' end with it. I called Joe and he took time to explain what he could do. I trusted him & could tell that he actually cares about his clients. Joe encourages me with exercise and advises me to have bigger gaps between treatments (ie he's not trying to get more money like many are!) I've lost weight and feel so much better. My shoulder is slightly uncomfortable sometimes, but the improvement is unreal. No more crying with pain and I very rarely need pain killers, which I relied on daily previously.Thank you Joe, you've changed my life!
