Friendly and knowledgeable staff who take time to explain the produce, where it has come from and how best to enjoy it. Prices are reasonable too considering its all locally sourced and fresh!1kg aged brisket, vension sausages and 2 home made pies all for just over £30.

Quite simply the best place to get fresh meat and veg from if your in the local area! The guys in there will do anything for you and the quality is second to none! The prices aren’t that much more than the supermarkets and as for the quality you can tell a mile away how good it is! Proof of the pudding is in the eating they say! Highly recommend!

Popped in lunchtime today. A young man behind the counter was so lovely. Recommended us a wonderful steak. He also give us an advice how to best cook it. We had it for a late lunch. It was delicious, the meat just melted in the mouth.Thank you, you are a credit to your employer.

Stopped for a tasty sausage and bacon bap while on a stroll. They do a fantastic hog roast once a month so next time I'll go a bit later. The shop is well stocked with amazing looking meats too.

We visit the area quite regularly, so our friends asked us to pop in to Woodhouse for them. It looks like a typical farmyard and it is, the actual shop is very unprepossesing but don't be put off, there is a great range of farm made products and mrs Stilton reckons the meat is excellent. Prices compare with supermarkets and the quality is better. Well worth a visit. Be careful though the approach road is single track with passing places.

Lovely afternoon at Woodhouse Farm Summer afternoon. We had one of the best hog roasts we’d had in ages and our LO had a fab time on the bouncy castles and watching the pigs race.Really pleased the team at the farm wanted to make a fun day for their wider community and think they did a great job. We’ll be back!
