A nice campsite. We were one of the only tents in the tent field but that wasn't a problem. Other campsites leave longer grass in between pictures to define them which could work well here for pitches 1-5. Everybody was friendly. The toilet and shower block was quite far to walk from the tent field. Showers were perfectly acceptable with decent pressure and heat.Secure location with a barrier on entry and gates. Located in a good place, St Ives isn't far to walk and creates a nice 8 mile round walk. A Greene king pub is also in walking distance. Dog friendly.

Amazing, quiet caravan park, ADULT ONLY!! Great fishing lakes , beautiful pitches, and the staff are really friendly and helpful. Lots of disabled access so anyone can go. If you fancy a wander out your near St Ives Market town and huntingdon. We love it

Wyton Lakes Holiday Park
Lovely site, beautiful setting around fishing lakes, everywhere is spotlessly clean and tidy a real credit to the wardens Mark and Sarah who are very welcoming and helpful. Location is good with a pub serving reasonable priced food just a couple of minutes walk away. Would definitely recommend this site.

Wyton Lakes Holiday Park
Wyton is great, the whole place & the fishing. But the above photos of a building with a bridge, & the children's boating lake are NOT WYTON. Wyton is adults only, NO Boating lake only 3 fishing lakes plus the river.

First time here, and will return. The place is tranquil, with some good nearby facilities. We pitched in whats termed the 'camping field'. Electric, in our case, was over a hedge - no big deal, but there were other pitches with it more accessible. Its a bit of a trek to the shower-block though, even if you are just emptying the cassette. Water is at the gate, so can also be a trek if you are well into the field. All other pitches on site appear to be hard-standing; an 'insurance' against wet/bad weather, you would think. Not so. After a deluge, 2 or 3 suffered badly, with the occupants having to ship out - not sure of they relocated or left the site. Anyway, the proprietors were helpful and knowledgeable, and certainly helped us when our pump packed in on day 2. While there is a marina, with a pub for food to the left out of the gates, we never got there. We were advised it could get very busy with families on weekends, and there was another 'food pub' in the village in the other direction - 15/ 20 mins walk. The Three Jolly Butchers was excellent for food, drink, and atmos. Dined a couple of times. There was a second pub, that wasnt as busy, where we had a drink. And went back the day after as there was a band on for the Coronation. In the village is a post-office/store, selling everything under the sun. Also nearby is Houghton mill (NT), with some lovely walks. There is also a campsite, but it was thronged with families. So glad we didnt book this place for the BH!There is also a large garden centre over the road from site. This has a Waitrose, among other outlets. Where all the food you would need - including meats, can be had for reasonable prices (for Waitrose). So no need to cart too much with you. There is also a Tesco quite nearby. On leaving, as the field was also quite wet, we had to pull a motorhome out from the opposite pitch, before hooking up ourselves. A gesture of goodwill, of which we had received earlier from others. We fully intend going back to Wyton Lakes campsite.
