Organic & Natural

I was staying about a block away from this store and that I had landed in heaven - an organic store.After I dumped off my luggage I went to this store and asked about the fiarly small offering of fresh produce. Very little of it is organic. They do offer several organic products from Biona and Suma on the packaged shelves but much the same you can get in the 10 - 12 other shops in the area.They are owned by the same people that own Palm half a block across the road - who carry much the same in organic products.I find the listing of 'organic' on the outside of the stores in London a little misleading. Sure - they all probably carry 100 items that are organic and another 30-40 items that are made specifically for vegans but really - misleading to people like myself that have quite an different understanding what an organic food store is having owned and operated one for 31 years.I think the MAJORITY of the fresh produce being offered should be certiied organic.And if the produce is produced in an non-organic manner I do not think it deserves the label of 'natural' either.This is false advertising.Nice local store though. The staff were quite good and I shopped there a few times.I think I found a store that will meet my needs up in Walthamstow. We will see.

The staff were very helpful. I was buying loose nuts and dropped some on the floor. They didn't ask me to pay for them even though I was willing to. They have paper and biodegradable bags for the loose fill food.

Great local health food shop, lots of obscure ingredients hard to find elsewhere, lunchtime café food and always a nice display of fresh bread from local bakeries!

If you want good quality products, visit this store. This also opposite another Excellent Store. Rare Gems

Visited the shop today not much variety of green leafy organic produce. However, the shop stocked other organic packed products. Had to travel further up the road to Whole Foods, to get what I needed, which had more organic produce in abundance not to mention all the different organic products available. In addition, the shop was buzzing with customers!

Being one of the quality food curator pioneers in the UK, this store continues to set the standard in the trade - helping emerging local producers, and being the heart of the local community. Speciality produce, hard to get items, products trending within food connoisseur community are what you find on the shelves - bravo, management!

Quirky shop full of nice things to eat, smaller Palms on other side of the road. Very friendly staff.

Shopped there today. The bill seemed strangely high, but I was in a hurry and trusted it was correct. When I came back home in the evening and compared the prices on the tags with the bill, it was over £10 higher...

Good range of stock for vegetarians and vegans. It may not have everything you are looking for but, locally, it's one of the places you should try.

Great coffee and vegan cake. Nice sun trap at the back of the cafe surrounded by plants. Friendly, local shop with everything you might need.
