This care home has had a great turnaround. I used to turn up to see my mother very depressed. Now when I go she is happy, positive and has a great rapport with staff. Fantastic staff. Thank you.

If I could give it minus 5 stars I would.DO NOT put loved family in here.we regretted it but the hospital put pressure on us because of bed blocking.neglect ended up causing my Grandma's painful death and following this a social services lengthy investigation.very traumatic experience which will haunt my family for ever.stay well away from here!!!

Smells very strongly of urine when you walk in.Bedroom of person I visited stank worse. Had to open window as far as it would go as our eyes were stinging & watering due to the odour. My friend is very unhappy there but I can't do anything about it. I am extremely frustrated as I don't know how I can help them!!

Very poor standard of care for my family member here. Many safeguarding issues for the service users such as propped fire doors, people wandering around looking for staff to help them with nobody available as they are locked out of other areas. This should be for their safety but when unobserved it's dangerous. Many residents with injuries and inappropriate clothing (ie. odd shoes and clothes that are not theirs). Often seen only one person working on a full floor. Unable to bathe and care for residents efficiently due to staff shortages and when they do, they often aren't bathed according to their care plan when assigned for 2:1 care. Disgusting. Will be reporting to local council.

Unfortunately we had high hopes for this care home when moving my Nanna here but we have been left sadly disappointed and angered. Staff are friendly, depending who you talk to but it's obvious that they are lacking support and are short of staff. Health care and awareness of care plans is shocking with my Nanna having been given drinks without the appropriate thickness (a choking hazard), to name one example, 2:1 care being ignored and little to no staff available on the floor. I have often had residents asking me for help where I then have to search for staff to help them. Residents are locked in certain areas with no supervision at all at times. This should be for their safety, not to their detriment. Staff members interviewed a family member of mine with no witness or support, making accusations when they should look closer to home. I had heard rumours about Willow Green from staff members from other care homes, with names being mentioned! Massive breach of confidentiality. I went to report this to CQC but it appears the home is already under investigation.

Unfortunately my dad had to be placed in here temporarily.I would advise anyone considering using this facility for a loved one, to read the Care Commissions report first. Nothing has changed.

My grandad stayed here for 2 months. Unfortunately our experience was negative. We moved him at which point he had a grade 3 pressure sore (moving towards a 4) various failings within the establishment and pending safeguardings. Home has a strong odour. Honestly would recommend to avoid where possible.
