What an amazing place. Really well done restaurant that oozes quality. Food was excellent (sorry i started to eat before taking pics, couldnt wait).I had the ham, egg and chips, also we had the Prawn baked potato.All really well done and presented.Cakes look amazing and the staff were excellent. Real pleasure to be there.They are located in a garden centre with lots to offer and some really nice gifts and presents.Just off the A303 near Honiton. Very worth planning your route to stop off. The Kitchen at Combe Garden Centre
A great place to chill and relax. Wonderful in the warmer months when you can sit outside, and bring your dog.Can get crowded and noisy at peak periods, but it is what it is. Food is excellent quality, staff friendly even when run off their feet. Breakfasts are popular, cakes and deserts are lethal for the waistline!

Lovely cafe/restaurant. Perfect for all ages.We went on a busy Sunday lunchtime and ordered Roast Beef and Roast Chicken.They were happy to cater for smaller appetites, which was perfect.Exceptional service from the lady on the till who helped me with a specific requirement for my husbands special dietary requirements.DELICIOUS red cabbage on the Roast dinner.

I was expecting a better experience, having checked this place out on the Internet, but sadly, It was a little underwhelming and somewhat overpriced. The wrap was unheated with a warm filling of bland chicken on top; the ploughman's consisted of lots of pickled vegetables which left pools of vinegar on the plate, resulting in a vinegar soaked bread roll, some nice ham, a few slices of apple and a few leaves. I had to ask for butter. The child's meal came on a very hot plate, making it unsafe for a little one, and we had to try to cool it down in a hurry, which was frustrating for mother and child. It was very busy, so perhaps it would be better on a quieter day, but I don't think I would hurry back as there are lots of other options in the area .

Excellent place for food. Staff are brilliant. Go there fairly often (once a month ish)Menus have a nice variation, and we must have tried most of them and never a disappointment .3 separate eating areas inside and out which is nice.

Fabulous food, great service and able to accommodate my gluten free diet. Lots of choice, the cakes look amazing. Nice to have an iced coffee, just right for the hot weather

We've been to the Kitchens at Coombe garden centre many, many times with great food however today was a let down after spending nearly £100 and the mushy peas were unfortunately overly salty to the point the 3 of us could not eat the side. We raised the issue, but were asked if we would like more peas. Ideally the best solution would have been a Discount, a Refund or Free drinks..... But that was Not offered.... Sorry Coombe Gardens, not the best experience today :-(

Wow wow wow. Amazing food (full English breakfast)and the customer service was great, lovely staff , very friendly and welcoming. Relaxing atmosphere if you sit outside , peaceful idyllic garden area for the summer months with plenty of tables and they also have seating outside that is covered where you sit if you have a dog which we preferred anyway as more space and quieter . Can get really really busy in the main dining area. Would totally recommend this place and will be visiting again and my dog loves it here too :)

Oh: fan-tas-ic! Really friendly staff for starters. Amazing ambience, especially outside, with more flowers and plants than tables ( just how a garden centre café should be!) Nice design. Excellent coffee and enormous Chelsea bun!Not the easiest place to find as limited signage from Honiton itself.Highly recommended
