If zero stars were an option I would have given them that. After being very quick to take on the job, London Borough Roofing have totally let me down. The work - repairing the guttering at the front of my property - wasn’t done properly (if they did anything at all) despite me paying a lot of money, and it leaked immediately the first time it rained. I was reassured that it was ‘under warranty’ even though no paper work was sent to me, and was told that James would be round to fix it. However, despite chasing James directly and via the company number the guttering was never repaired. They only answered the phone when I called from a different number, and wouldn’t return calls. I was repeatedly told James was on his way to mine to do the repair job but he didn’t show up and didn’t message me. I was told by Patrick in the office that I would get a refund of half my money for the inconvenience I’d experienced and that he would come and do the repairs himself. But I never heard from him, James or anyone at the company again. I have been chasing for weeks to get my money back and have had no response. I would not advise anyone to use London Borough Roofing for any services.I have seen that they have replied to another negative review saying that they have no record of the person - so flagging here that I have all the messages saved and recorded and would be happy to share them with London Borough Roofing again if they don’t recognise this chain of events.

Have just had my roof done, two bay window rooves. Quick, efficient, friendly and offered advice on how to maintain and reduce risk of damp and damage. There is a guarantee with all work, and hopefully I won't need it but if I did the team seems like they would honor it. Would reccomend.

We used London Borough Roofing for a roof repair with a 5 year guarantee. The work completed was fine for 6 months but then it needed remedial works. James did come back and do the remedial work on the roof but has promised us constantly that he would look at and repair the damage done to the property and fix it as it was his work that created the damage. After several phone calls and several weeks james has consistently not done what he has said he would do and we are now having to pay for the repairs out of our own pocket. very disappointed.

It was very pleasant experience. From the start to the end. From The person who picked up the phone to the person fixing plumbing were very helpful and polite. Definitely will recommend to others.

James repaired the section of my flat and gabled roof which required urgent repair shortly after the snow season which caused water damage within the property. He assessed and priced the job quickly providing availability for the repair immediately, keeping me informed of the process. The repair has been completed, the site cleaned and made watertight, all at a reasonable price.Would recommend this company for for their professionalism, honesty and expertise.S C, Crystal Palace

Following my last post, many of the fake reviews have been removed. In their place similar new fake reviews have popped up! Note that the reviews all suddenly come at the same time and that they are all from new google users who have never submitted any other reviews. This is a classic pattern for a company creating fake reviews.James is trying to conn you out of your money like he conned us out of ours. We paid for full gutter replacement and roof repairs six months ago. Despite endless chasing and numerous reassurances/excuses we have no gutters and a leaking roof. Please avoid these cowboys. If you want further evidence, look up James Casey on Companies House and you will see a repeating pattern of roofing/guttering companies closed down (and overdue accounts for his current company).

team were great, we thought our extended roof had a small leak and sadly the entire structure under the tiles had rotted away and needed a full replacement. They worked very quickly and were very informative throughout the whole process. I would happily have them work on my property again.

We had a few issues but London Borough Roofing Limited dealt with everything making sure we were completely satisfied nothing was a bother he is very sincere and puts his customers first.

Buyer beware. We used him to fix the roof that was causing a leak. While he was quick to respond and be available to “fix” the roof the first time I reached out, I quickly realised nothing was fixed. Over the course of 5 months he has either not responded, stood me up 3 times when we had scheduled agreed times, and lastly…. Actually done more damage to the roof and the windows on it. His claim of giving you a “guarantee” is a lie, as I quickly found out. There is no option for a refund with him.James Casey is not a serious roofer nor is he capable of this job. I am currently pursuing legal action due to the damage he has done.—Edit: since I posted this review, James has responded with derogatory language and 3 new 5-star reviews subsequently appeared.
