Fantastic addition to Portishead High Street. A well curated fiction section, extremely tempting non fiction section, and very welcoming children’s room. My son loved sitting on the beanbag and sampling the books he had browsed. They all came home with us! The staff are helpful without being intrusive, and very kind and friendly.

It is nice to see a local bookshop that seemingly lends itself to community spirit and a friendly atmosphere. The staff have been warm, helpful, and proactive with my needs as a keen customer. Despite the shop being relatively small, there is a wide range of genres to browse, and in the event that your sought after book cannot be found, it can be ordered and delivered to the store- usually within the following 1-2 days.

Wonderful addition to the high street - fantastic range of books, as well as gift ideas like games and fun stationary- frequently running events with writers too. Definitely pop in if you haven't already. Staff are really helpful and friendly too- and will help you find or order what you're looking for.
