It is such a pleasant walk

Lovely walks through woods, fields and meadows. Nicely maintained paths. We did find a path on the 1990s map which has been abandoned but it was easy to deviate to the nearby alternative path. Excellent location for blackberry picking in late August, early September, because there are at least five places where they grow in substantial numbers.

A lovely area to walk and this was a favourite of my old Labrador, Coco. If you’re there in the spring watch out for a section with lots of daffodils, planted by me to mark where we spread his ashes.
