Baskets and Blooms Plant Centre and Blooms Cafe

I have been going here for a while the cafe and Sunday dinner is lovely along with the staff. The plants are always good value and healthy

Nice garden centre. Cafe is adequate. Somehow it always falls short of being a special experience. Not sure what it is maybe the queung,, self service, or cakes not quite being wonderful. . Staff are friendly and welcoming. Tea served in a pot, was not warm enough. . Think they hadn't heated the pot. I always forget to give that lecture and it does spoil the cuppa!!

Great place for plants and super cafe, excellent Sunday Roasts in winter too! Probably best to book though

Used the restaurant. The food was tasty and reasonably priced .We then looked at the plants and purchased 2 baskets of winter flowers .Good quality and good price.

Dogs welcome and good customer service in cafe apart from one lad which obviously couldn’t be bothered. Staff could do with smiling more. Cream tea tasted like play dough so wouldn’t recommend.

Bought a lovely mixed planter as a pressie for someone. Great value, 5 plants in a decorated large plastic pot, £12-99.. what's not to like..??

Lovely big selection of good quality plants and garden accessories at very reasonable prices. Very nice pre-planted hanging baskets and patio planters are very good value for money. Large car park available out front.

Rating for food damaged by general level of cleanliness. Friendly staff behind the counter, helpful too.But for a garden centre cafe I was sad to see dead plants in pots hanging on the wall. Not just dead but brittle so have been ignored for some time. A lot of cobwebs too. And the table clearing leaves a lot to be desired. Don't just clear it - wipe it - AND the chairs (pulled out to sit down and had to clear food from them) - and the rubbish underneath.Also clean and polish the cutkery.I pulled out two forks that had old food on them and a women came back for a different knife for the same reason!This is the second time in three years I have eaten here and while the first experience was absolutely appalling (hence didn't want to go back in a hurry): then it was gone off- cream served with the scones which couldn't be replaced as they had run out (last pot") and tables around us piled high with dirty crockery and food attracting flies. Customers wanting to sit down were having to clear tables themselves and the space to do this ran out quickly. Serving staff coming out with orders going back empty handed every time. Completely ignoring the overflowing tables and full tray rack/trolley.Training tip: Take a tray full of washing up back with you!Food was nice so that does deserve noting.EDIT: THANK YOU FOR THE REPLY."

Lots of beautiful fresh plants. Always very friendly and helpful. Picked up a few bargains too on sale plants and multi buys. Definitely recommend I've been shopping here for years.
