Optical Express Laser Eye Surgery, Cataract Surgery, & Opticians: Cheltenham

I cannot recommend Optical Express enough. The staff at Cheltenham are so polite and professional, but still made it a very personal service to me. The lense replacement Surgery I received in Bristol was an amazing experience and I was treated so well by everyone involved. My follow up at Cheltenham seemed as exciting to them as it was for me. Again, making my experience personal to me. Thank you everyone for making my journey so easy. I would and will be recommending you to everyone.

What can I say, I am extremely pleased with Cheltenham Optical Express. Extremely pleased is an understatement. The staff at the clinic were all very amazing and very professional made me feel at ease all the way through and talked me through each step of the way so I knew what to expect so glad I have had this done massive thanks to all involved. Superbly amazing! My journey throughout has been amazing. I never knew lens replacement existed until they suggested it was the better option for my eyes. The staff were very thorough with all the checks and scans and I was treated with so much care before and after my surgery. Every concern of mine was answered with a thorough explanation and I was left with ease and peace. As I said my journey in getting my eyes sorted has been an amazing one. I recommend multifocal lens replacement surgery to anyone who doesn't like wearing glasses. For me, I was wearing reading glasses prior to my surgery and needed them for near vision. It got to a stage where I just wanted eyes with no glasses and a miracle happened and here I am extremely pleased. Cheltenham Optical Express have been really good to me throughout the whole process. The aftercare is quality. At one point, I had issues losing my eyedrops and they responded immediately and helped me with every step of the way. The process from the beginning till the end has been amazing and I will recommend them any day.

Cannot fault Cheltenham Clinic or the surgery and team in Birmingham. I've been made to feel at ease, cared for and everyone is really knowledgeable and answered any questions I had. Appointments have all been on time, post-op care has been great - just wish I'd done it sooner!

My distance vision was deteriorating and I was due to drive across France to my son’s wedding later this year so I went to Optical Express for corrective surgery. Sadly, following lens replacement surgery, my vision is actually worse than when I went in and I will now have to wear glasses or contact lenses until some further correction can be made. The Cheltenham office is no longer fully operational so it has been necessary to travel to Bristol for surgery and subsequent follow up, although the Cheltenham office we able to fit me in for an unscheduled appointment to review the failure to correct my vision as originally planned.

I’ve had such a positive experience with Optical Express and the whole Cheltenham team. After years of deliberation, I decided to enquire about laser eye surgery. I booked an appointment with ease, and had a free 90 minute consultation. I felt no pressure to go ahead with the surgery, but made a balanced decision that it was right for me.The Cheltenham branch don’t offer surgery, only consultations and aftercare, but they made sure all my appointments were booked and I knew what to expect after the procedure, which I had in Bristol. Back in Cheltenham, I had great aftercare, and, over a month post-op, have better than 20/20 vision!I can’t recommend this team highly enough and I can honestly say that the surgery has changed my life! Thank you team.

My husband and I attended Cheltenham Optical Express for our consultations for our laser eye surgery. We had great customer service and all the staff were great. They talked through all the procedure and everything that was going to happen. They took the time to answer all our questions and go through all the small details we needed to know about. I had a brilliant experience with both the Cheltenham branch and Bristol which is where my surgery took place. Everything was explained very clearly and reiterated at each stage, the staff were welcoming, knowledgeable and answered all of my questions in detail. My surgery went extremely well with fantastic aftercare I couldn’t be happier, I’m currently at month 1 after my surgery with better than 20/20 vision and no noticeable side effects as yet. I would highly recommend.
