Ship Street Surgery

I'm happy with this GP and the service they provide, especially by email. My experience so far is that they are very helpful.

Absolutely brilliant surgery. Dr Gracia is warm, attentive, goes out of his way and always gives 100% to myself and family. Reception are great also. Follow ups and communication overall is always exceptional. 100 stars

Gotta admit I'm impressed. Called the surgery bang on 8:30am and by 8:33 I had booked an appointment! Not 5 star though because couldn't find the econsult tab on their homepage

When I have been registered with other GPs it has always felt like such a battle to get seen or get a call back. I find all the staff at Ship St so kind and helpful and they really go above and beyond to help you out (especially Isma on reception).

Polite reception team, Dr's friendly. Prompt Email/txt service keeps patiants upto date with any Ship St Surgery issue's..

My elderly mum registered with Ship Street Surgery a few years' ago. She has always been treated with care, kindness and dignity by all the staff from the reception team to the GPs.Her health declined during the Covid-19 pandemic, but the surgery continued to provide outstanding care and support.We never had problems contacting the surgery and we knew that whether we left a message with the reception team or by email, it would be picked up and dealt with and we would receive an appropriate response within a reasonable timeframe.This has been immensely reassuring as mum has become more frail in recent months. Dr Gracia, in particular, has been very helpful and kind in always ensuring that he talks to me as well as to mum and has patiently answered my many questions.We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Ship Street Surgery and we thank all the staff working there for their support over the years.

I used to think Doctor Gracia was amazing. He is a good Doctor.But actually they dont care at all about their patients.There is one young guy in particular at the reception who is helpless, he is arrogant and doesnt know at all how he should behave by working with sick persons. Every time I have this guy over the phone then I feel so bad.Tbh, think twice before registering here.I have just put a second star because the Dr knows is job which is just normal.

I've had good experiences with this surgery, however they used to do online bookings but now, and I quote from the system (which incidentally seems to pushing paid for tests), '...your practice does not currently have any appointment slots that can be booked online....', seems like a step backwards as you need to go through the phone process. Might consider changing

Dr Garcia he is the best !!!Reception team friendly and always there to help .Others Gp who works there I can’t really have a good review, I did had some appointments with them ( dr Garcia was on annual leave) and always I was dissatisfied with all the comments and never sort my problems.Dr Garcia always there to help you ( even when was covid lockdown) so definitely I recommend him !! He is the best !

Dr.Gracia is a very good doctor who listens to me and I can trust him. The staff is also helpful although I had an incident once that lasted long time as there were miscommunication with the hospital on how they should be reffering patients (fax or email). Anyhow, after few complaints on how they were handling it, they found out the mistake. I would have therefore given less score but considering that I am a patient for 14 years and I think 5 stars it is.
