Tempest Martial Arts - Blyth

Been trying to get my 9 year old into a club he would enjoy for ages. We found Tempest and are so happy we did. Fist of all the actual kick boxing is awesome, such fun and my little one loves it. The values they instill into the kids are values they need for life, respect and confidence. Life essentials and instilled impeccably by the coaches every time.An absolute stand out for me is how the team helped when I reached out to let them know my little one felt lonely as they weren't making friends. Not only did I get some genuinely nice messages and suggestions but when we did go back, the coaches built the session around friendships and teamwork, my little one came out buzzing and can't wait to go back.That right there is the magic of Tempest. As I said to Ricky, you can talk the talk but it's those who walk the walk that truly stand out and Tempest are true stars of their field. Love them!

Spent years driving miles to have my 2 boys attend Tempest in North Shields.Worth it, but super excited to now have it on our doorstep. Great opportunity for blyth! I can’t recommend the gym highly enough - top notch training with amazing instructors teaching not only martial arts but life skills too.Anyone looking for a gym, for themselves or their little ones, look no further. At first I was a bit daunted but within 5 minutes was totally put at ease. Loved the idea of a ladies only group. Ricky and his team are full of encouragement and it has made for an enjoyable session every time. Can't recommend enough . Love it!

My son has been going to Tempest since the end of January and he absolutely loves it! The change in him since starting is amazing! The team are fantastic and genuinely care about the students. We love the mental/emotional focus as well as the physical side it has made a real difference to my son! He looks forward to his session every week and always comes out on top of the world!

I’m a total newbie to kick-boxing, I was keen to try it for a while so when I saw the ladies only class, I booked up. I was a bit nervous about what to expect but I needn’t have worried. It is such a friendly, fun and inclusive environment, there’s people of all shapes, sizes and fitness levels and I have thoroughly enjoyed taking part. All the trainers are really encouraging and motivating. I would highly recommend Tempest Martial Arts.

My son is beautifully unique and wanted to find a place where he could be his authentic self, have fun and learn at all the same time...... tempest is the place. I am very grateful for coaches who take time to get to know each child Individually, can provide that support when needed and have a class full of smiling faces when they leave room. Without a doubt I recommend tempest.
