The Brown Horse Hotel
I went to this pub on Father's day and it was really busy but it didn't feel that way because the restaurant is big and there is plenty of space. The food was really good and also for a good price. I really recommend it if you are in the area. It is worth calling to book a table during holidays.

Good location, food delicious and well presented. Service 4stars because it was just a tad slow although they may have busy in the bar. Overall very nice would definitely go there again.

Food was beautiful but the outside and inside could put people off. It looks really scruffy and if it wasn't recommended you wouldn't go for food.

Visited Sunday lunchtime for a carvery. No thrills but if you're looking for a good value and tasty carvery then this is the place for you. I'm vegetarian but there were plenty of vegetables without having the meat. Hubby said the meat was delicious and plenty of it. £12 a carvery. Great value but certainly no thrills attached!

This location is advertised as a BritStop. Best described as a akin to a Municipal Dump Ground. Food was disgusting with fries and onion rings soaked and cooked in old oil. Window to kitchen allows you to view the Chef cleaning copious amounts of food/rubbish/grid from the grill. I now understand what home cooked meals means ~ someone who plays in the kitchen and provides sub-standard food. Feedback to owner of poor food was totally ignored. Staff advised of celiac intolerance but still got glutened. Please drive past…

Not stayed here however, We booked a meal for 6 people. Our choices were All different and they were all excellent. Couldn't fault a thing. Good quality produce. Every one was delicious. Perfectly cooked and presented. Very Generous portions and our server was so helpful and attentive. Would highly recommend this for dining any day.

Have been a customer with my family for years because food is absolutely first class, all staff are polite and will do anything for you, Sunday lunch very reasonably priced and plenty of it, I really would recommend it to anyone
