Ashton Park
Pretty clean, spacious park. Perfect for daytime and especially evening walks, and you can also have a picnic on one of the many lawns.

Ashton Park
Spacious. For deep breathing, walking, playing football, tennis, basketball. In summer wonderful shaded walks near Ashton House. Good playgrounds.

Nice place for dog walking. However, I went to attend Dig In. A place run by veterans for veterans.

Ashton Park
A great large park with a nice perimeter path for walks and a surprising amount of wildlife, with tawny owls, and many species of bats (you can see the large noctule bats feeding under the path lights in the summer) all easy to find and observe.

Ashton Park
Lovely for dog walking, children's playground and pathways. Well established and tended to by the grounds people. A number of football pitches in use by local children's teams during the season. The park is surrounded by both housing and main routes in and out of Preston, Lancashire, therefore can be easily accessed.

The tennis courts in Ashton Park were always busy this time of year but not now thanks to Preston Councils profit before people. The new tennis courts look very nice. I didn't know they were now pay to play until I arrived. Tried to use the Qr booking system but it would not let me book until the 26th despite the court being empty. I can't see them being accessible for the majority of people. Well done Preston Council for making the recreational facilities inaccessible during the summer.
