Urban Wardrobes

Very good end result. Need to ensure closely across survey in terms of plugs and radiators needing moving for the wardrobe and they don’t refit any carpet to new fitted wardrobes you need to allow for extra in terms of carpet filters, electricians and plumbers.. But very satisfied with end product.

We used the Urban Wardrobes to fit out my daughters bedroom. From start to finish Mikhailo and team were fantastic. Even when we had a slight design issue with a hinge, we managed to work around this, and as compensation the team provided us a free internal mirror. Would recommend and use again - Eugen was particularly helpful!!

I had some sliding wardrobes made and installed 5 years ago, the top runner came off and they came out and fixed it free of charge. Which I didn't expect as they are 5 years old. Excellent company.

I am amending my previous review as the company has been in touch and now kindly fixed the problem to a high standard.--We commissioned two custom made wardrobes sets from urban wardrobes. One for a bedroom and one for a basement room. Both sets are well made and the designs are great. We would have been extremely pleased with them except for a major issue with the basement ones. We discovered a few years after installation that all of the contents had mould growing on them. We initially thought it must be a problem with damp from the basement construction. Having had an inspection it turns out that this is not the issue but rather a lack of ventilation to the wardrobes. We have been asking Urban Wardrobes repeatedly to help resolve the issue by installing some vents. They initially refused claiming it is not their responsibility. They then put us in touch with their installation manager who said he would come and look at it but has failed to do so despite several chases over more than a year. The main manager has also been quite aggressive/rude in his communication. We are now stuck having to leave the wardrobe doors open constantly to avoid the same issue recurring. It’s a shame because the wardrobes are nice and we were pleased to support a local company but I would not recommend Urban Wardrobes because if something goes wrong after sales, you may end up stuck

The quality of the wardrobes is great, and the pricing is competitive compared to the bigger names. Definitely much better quality than the likes of Sharps, and better value for money than the likes of Neatsmith.The good price-to-quality point is because they are a small, lean outfit based in South London, so they don't have lots of overheads.We got a Scandi style wardrobe installed by them, and a few months on, very impressed with the finish.So why the four stars? There were a few hiccups during the installation process, which took quite some time to sort out, but they were sorted out in the end. So the final outcome was good, but there was some friction during the purchase and installation process.

Still very happy with the work done back in 2018 in our loft!

Can't recommend Urban Wardrobes enough! The team that spent 3 days in the house was efficient and discreet. I don't believe I ever saw them take break throughout the day! I am very satisfied with the final result. The built-in wardrobes they have installed include a pullout double bed that fits a real mattress so my guests can be comfy when they stay over. The quality and finish are very impressive. Thanks Mykhailo and team

Urban Wardrobes helped us design and install a home office / guest bedroom including a wall bed and built in desk and cabinetry. The team were very helpful throughout the design process and the installation was completed quickly and skillfully. We're very happy with result and would definitely recommend to others.

Could not recommend Urban Wardrobes highly enough. From start to finish, they were extremely professional and courteous. They took great pride and care in the installation - staying well into the night and even having to come back to finish off a few final bits. The finished product far exceeded expectations.
