Great, honest and they take good care of you (and your car). I first was directed here years ago when hubby was changing an old car tyre and a guy stopped to give him a spare wheel that he had. That guy worked here and so that's why these guys are our go to for car care. Had a couple of situations recently where I needed to use 2 different mechanics, and both experiences were terrible and only served to remind me how good these guys are!

Super friendly, helpful people, offering transparent advice and asking the right questions to find the real root cause of any issues with your car. Well priced for all jobs and if there's something they aren't capable of doing to their high standards they will recommend someone that can.

First experience was good. Second time, not great - I came for an MOT and it failed apparently due to an intermittent tail light and some 'welding work' that needed to be done. It was to be outsourced and priced by a friend of the garage owner. I felt at the time, it was a means of getting some extra work in for this friend. My husband also felt the failings did not add up and the owner was caught off guard when he called back enquiring about the tail light he had just changed. Owner then said it wasn't intermittent it was not working at all - but it was. He enquired where we had got it from - we replied Halfords - he told us that's not a trustworthy place to buy bulbs from.This was enough for us not to return and instead pay for a new MOT all over again from a local garage. He had a quick look and explained how this hole for 'welding' is so small and would not fail an MOT, in the long term if it got bigger you would not weld it but replace the piece. His explanations made alot more sense and he showed us on the car. He even did a few extra fixes for free. The car passed and it was more affordable to pay for this new MOT plus smaller jobs than the ridiculous quote I had been given for all the so called 'fixes' my car required to pass via this garage. Very disappointed.

Brilliant service from start to finish! Taz fitted me in last minute on a Saturday to do my MOT. Communication from start to finish was 5 star and I will definitely be using SK4 garage again! Thank you guys!

These guys are great. We’ve been using this garage for a few years now and they’ve never let us down. This week they reminded us our MOT was due and fitted us in last minute. Really helped us out.

Absolutely amazing garage, amazing service, wonderful communication and good prices which they were honest about from the outset. We were desperate and not particularly close to this garage geographically from home but we would use it every time now, no matter what!Thank you so much for a fabulous job on our car and getting us and our baby back on the road as soon as possible. We really appreciate it!

I would not recommend this garage. I had my MOT and service with them earlier this year. However, they fitted a wrong air filter in my car during the service, and it cost me a lot of money and time to figure it out with the dealer (which is always expensive), as the error code showed issues with air flow sensor but not the filter. I emailed them about the issue with evidence, but they just ignored my email. Please avoid, as they were not professional and didn't care about their customers.

Excellent service. Friendly staff, reasonably priced and helpful as always. I will be using them again.
