S R Powerflush

SR Flushing were contacted to carry out a full system flush of my elderly Mother's bungalow.Steve carried this out in a timely fashion and got all 9 radiators working through his machine. A new pump was required so Steve popped back a week later to fit along with further fettling to the stubborn 9th radiator. A third visit was then planned to replace the three way valve. This visit never happened with excuses for a bad back and then a job which had over run. I have not heard from him since despite leaving messages on his phone and via email. Another plumber replaced the three way valve and unblocked the pipe to the 9th radiator and all is now well. Avoid.

If you have any problems with your heating system, do yourself a favour and get Steve at SR Powerflush in straight away. I learnt the hard way, and recieved nonsensical quotes from many 'cowboy' engineers that operate locally! Steve is completely genuine and open and honest at all times. He performed a powerflush on our system and it now works well. He also followed up the next day for an update, and when I had a further problem he came back again to sort it out for me. Myself and my wife have previously given Steve from SR Powerflush a really good review. It is with great regret that i find myself revisiting that review and changing it.Just over a year ago we had a very unusual leak in our house and Steve from SR came round on short notice and rectified this leak. Given that he appeared to be so good, we decided to use him again for a number of other plumbing jobs we needed done on our house. The first was a faulty boiler, which when he came round and looked at stated it would take him only a half day to fix. However this job took him 2 days. He cited that the people who had installed the tank had “threaded the fixings holding the thermostat in place. So he said he had to work hard and rectify this problem for us. That said the cost was still reasonable. We then noticed that water was leaking from above the hot water tank

I have forwarded Steve's details to several customers and they have all said how prompt and efficient the service was. From a professional perspective Steve's power-flushed systems are always left spotless inside the pipework/radiators and outside. He is a positive asset to my company.
