Oltco HQ - Cornwall

I recently had a large surface area laid by Oltco to include a driveway and two patio areas. The quotation provided was very reasonable, indeed much lower than other quotes received. The workmanship was second to none, the team were a delight and were respectful of our premises and the local area. They resin they used is made from recycled plastic - very good in the current climate of recycling.I would 100 percent recommend this firm to others who want a driveway patio or path replaced.Altogether a brilliant experience throughoutI attach before and after photographs below

Clint was a pleasure to deal with throughout the project. His extremely pleasant disposition was matched by his knowledge and professionalism. He was patient whilst we pondered over our final choice of drive, offering the location of several local examples to aid our decision. He demonstrated great tolerance and expediency answering a multitude of questions, regardless of their banality. Inclement weather proved an obstacle progressing the work on planned days, but he was professional enough not to plough on regardless (thereby jeopardising the quality of the work), waiting instead for a break in the weather. A request to make an alteration after the drive was completed was completed the very next day, a clear indicator of the high level of after-sale service provided.A special mention must be made for Dexter, who prepped the drive and assisted Clint with the laying. He was personable and extremely helpful with some fine detail advice and clearly has the skill and acumen necessary for this work.

There are trowel marks in our driveway and they show up very badly in the sunshine, (see picture attached).We have been in touch with other professionals and they have said that “installers with plenty of experience should be able to get the finish as smooth as possible and that it’s good practice to use a 'power float' (hover trowel ) to produce a better finish on resin than just using handheld floats”.So, having wished we'd used a different company now after paying thousands of pounds for what has been a catalogue of errors from the start, sending us to properties that don’t have an Oltco resin area that we can actually see/that don’t exist, to dumping the aggregate onto the road in front of our house and then the trowel marks, we are incredibly disappointed and upset.Oltco have all these accreditations and they don’t mean a thing.We would NOT recommend.

Oltco installed a resin-bound surface onto our driveway. They were competitive, behaved professionally throughout, and showed flexibility in solving a couple of awkward little problems. We are very please with the end result.

In order to make our steps non slip after my wife fell and broke her ribs on icy steps we found Oltco. After a non-pressurised home visit from Scott to discuss options, we also decided to resurface our tired slate stone courtyard. This proved to be excellant value as well as good quality and a rejuvinated courtyard. The team, Cameran and Luke, were really good, helpful and proffesional, as well as tidy. Resin driveway specialists and it shows. Excellent work from the local team lead by Brian. The finished product looks superb and has made a significant improvement. There were some more complex groundworks needed to produce a fully useable space and Brian came up with a great solution that has really worked effectively. All round, excellent.
