Excellent journey in a kayak with CanoeMan..would definitely do this again as it was great fun and the price was ok for 2 hours...we managed to see a lot from the river. The staff are friendly and they provide you with everything you need for a safe journey on the water...big bonus after a few hours on the water the start/finish is next to a pub which I would definitely recommend for food/drinks (Rising Sun)

Had a lovely time doing the one way Buxton to Coltishall canoe trip. Very easy to do (my first time actively canoeing and it was a lot of fun). This company has various locations and lots of choice in different activities and activity combos, so we'd definitely have a go at something else next time. Booking was super easy and all the necessary info was clear. A very good way to explore the broads.

We had a great trip on the Bure from Coltishall up. The water is so clear it's like canoeing in a fish tank.The equipment and boats were excellent and the team most helpful.Can't recommend highly enough.

Absolutely fantastic time renting a canoe and kayak, this is a great place to rent these, lots to see as you go both up and down stream.Can't wait to go again!

2 x 2 people canoes hired for 2 adults and 2 kids (8+4). Perfect way to spend a couple of hours drifting down to the mill and back. Supplied with everything we need and given guidance and support by the guy there. Thoroughly recommend for young families or anyone doing it. Great location for a pint after too!

Great company. Really easy to book & pay. We were met by a lovely young lady who helped us into the canoes and told us where to go.The river itself is beautiful and quiet too - perfect for us as we had 2 kids with us.It was such a lovely day and prices were very reasonable compared to other companies.I definitely recommend you choose these guys!

Fabulous relaxing journey down the river from Buxton to Coltishall. Very well organised and clear instructions. Parking can be challenging so leave plenty of time to find somewhere if the pub car park is full.

Had a great two hours on the river thanks to TheCanoeMan. Rented a two-person canoe, someone was ready to greet us and get us in the water. They recommended the direction to go in and off we went. Couldn't have been easier, just pre-book on the website and turn up on the day. Loved it.Just an FYI, it did get very busy in Coltishall on a Saturday in the summer so arrive early to make sure you have time to find somewhere to park.

Very helpful. A lovely stretch of river with lots of wildlife. We will return maybe for a paddle board.
