Quality of equipment is really good, even the lower end of their price range. So helpful and answered all my questions, took the time with me to show me a range of products.Great local business, if you're looking for wetsuits for swimming or diving or fishing gear and boat gear they've got it all. And you're supporting local business.Which means local people get employed and the money goes back into the community.

I just completed my open water course with Andark. The course itself was fantastically run and organised, the information provided, facilities and equipment were great. Also the advice of everyone in the shop and the instructing team was invaluable and they were very helpful and keen to share knowledge. However, what really stood out for me were the 4 instructors I had Antonio, Jason, James and Rowen. The 4 of them were patient, reassuring, supportive, non-judgemental and truly made me feel at ease. Additionally, they were very happy to give you guidance on how to improve for future dives and were very willing to answer questions. I do not think I could of asked for 4 better instructors.Thank you for an amazing experience and a very welcoming entry into the diving community.

I just finished my open water course and had a great time doing it. Tom and Jamie are nice, patient instructors. The shop was fantastic, the staff agreed to exchange my leaky mask after I'd used it on a couple dives. It is well worth investing in a good mask.

Bought a Tusa mask from Andark, not only was it the best price on the internet, it was delivered within 24hours!. If only all companies were as good as this. I'm a very happy customer. 10/10 for Andark.

Don't book there bubble session or a Sunday dive with them if your only an open water diverI had book for a evening dive in there pool on Monday and got told that it was cancelled over the phone because of short staff and that they won't be running the Wednesday pool session ether because of short staff phone them up on Tuesday and they said yer we've got space for Wednesday then I book for tomorrow dive in Weymouth with them and they have cancelled because of bad weather looking at the weather forecast for tomorrow it looks fine making me think they don't like taking open water divers out or letting them use there pool

I've been shopping at Andark for over 20 years now and never had any issues; admittedly a bit on the expensive side but always had good service from them for which you don't mind paying a bit more. Until today! I walked in the shop and asked for a pair of latex wrist seals and some tape for my drysuit. The girl behind the counter came back with 2 wrist seals and a meter of tape, typed it into the till and asked me for £40! I mentioned that was probably the cost of having them changed by the shop. She said the price wasn't in the system and after redoing the invoice she came up with £20. Keeping in mind that the same type of wrist seals and some tape online will cost you around £10 I asked to speak to the manager to see if they could do something to try and reduce the price a bit. At that point the girl said she was the manager of the shop! Wow, a manager who finds it acceptable to charge £40 for a bit of latex and some tape, great manager! Andark I suggest you reassess your weekend staff/managers.(this was 4 years ago; just edited a spelling mistake and unfortunately it's put it to the top)

Just passed my Open Water today at Andark. Had a great experience and all of the instructors and staff were top class and made it easy and relaxed. Everything was done thoroughly and clearly and safely, and was a really enjoyable experience. Would highly recommend! x

I visited Andark’s stand at the 2023 Southampton Boat show to buy a number of sailing items (sailing jackets, boots, life jackets etc), Jennifer, Andy (Director) and the various team members were very helpful along with the Seago team following up promptly with questions, and offered competitive pricing. I would not hesitate to recommend them, co-incidentally I then met another Andark customer (diving school and lake) from the village, they were also very pleased with the helpful, flexible, friendly, skilled staff and overall customer experience.

Absolutely love this place. It's my go to open water/winter swimming venue.Last week I got to swim with tiny ducklings. The water is fairly clear, I've never thought I don't want to get in.The changing facilities are good, it is open plan changing - no cubicles. There are also warm showers and a shop which sells coffee tea etc.As a member of the Swanwick Seals, I have been able to use the sauna facility over winter which is amazing.Highly recommend this place for swimming.I do not dive so can not give a review in that respect. However, it seems incredibly popular with the diving community. There are always divers getting ready to get in as we swimmers get out.
