The owner is very friendly and the bagels tasted amazing. The seasoned ‘everything’ bagels are delicious and packed full of flavour.Only last a star as the price is quite steep but it’s not absolutely ridiculous.

We have been going to Slow Rise for about 2 1/2 years now and I have never had a bad experience! Consistently delicious bagels, cakes and coffees and always friendly service. You’ve done such an amazing job Nick and Nerys. Genuinely my favourite breakfast or lunch spot in Leeds.

Just fantastic. Enormous, perfectly chewy bagels with tons of choice for both bagel flavour and filling. The salmon and cream cheese is a perennial favourite of mine, as is the salt beef (on a pretzel salt bagel, for extra saltiness!) and the array of cakes makes this a wonderful suburban lunch option. The coffee is also excellent - worth the queue that sometimes snakes outside the door!

Delicious food and amazing, friendly service with a smile! I went in today for a bagel at lunchtime. It was busy and there was a small wait, but that's to be expected. Absolutely delicious. I went for the everything bagel with chicken, tomato, avocado and cream cheese. I may be back tomorrow!

I would definitely recommend the bagels and the coffee is great as well. It's a reasonably small space so we couldn't get a table initially but the staff made sure we were seated as soon as possible and our food came out immediately. Overall a great brunch experience and one I would highly recommend. Thanks to the hardworking staff.

Absolutely love this place, I have just moved to the area and I was delighted to discover we had a bagel cafe and I was not disappointed at all. It was fantastic. I had the turkey with avocado and my husband had the rueben and they were both delicous. Probably the best bagels we have ever had.i can't wait to go back and try some different ones. Great, friendly staff too despite how busy they were and the chai lattes were perfect!
