Wish I could give 0 stars! Need a doctors appointment but needed to register with a doctor as didn't have one in this area after moving. Filled in all of the paperwork, took in ID and was told had to wait a week to get an appointment. So waited only to be told a week later that it was refused as out of boundary. Am clearly inside the boundary on their website as I made sure I checked this before even trying to register! Staff could also have said this when they checked the ID but didn't bother! Now a week on, need an appointment more than ever and thanks to this terrible service am back to square one!! Disgusting! How difficult is it really to get the practice boundary right on the website so they are not wasting everyone's time. Especially when it's people health in question!

As every other patient described the surgery, the reception is RIDICULOUS!!! They give you different information every time you call. Very unpleasant experience, I did call to arrange a medical examination report to be filled in by a doctor and the first sentence was you have to pay first and we can book you an appointment "?????? What is the problem

I have been registered at Grovelands for over 30 years; the doctors and nurses I have encountered have been professional, and helpful, and have been supportive during some particularly difficult times for my family.I also commend the very efficient way the annual 'flu jab sessions are run, ensuring the minimum of waiting time for patients.However, over the last two decades I have experienced a general deterioration in the attitude of the reception staff towards the patients, though there are exceptions. It seems other reviewers have not been so fortunate, and I would not dispute their grievances.I am hoping that the current Practice Manager, whom I have recently contacted on this issue, can improve the things for the patients.

No appointments online, answer phone says to ring 111.Rang 111 they arranged for surgery to call back. Spoke with surgery and appointment made within 2 hrs.Not possible to speak to surgery directly for an appointment. Apparently appointments are available at 9.30 am for online booking only.

Experience with Dr's and nurses fine . . . . . Receptionists far from it, depending on who you speak to depends on the level of care, support and information. Almost made to feel like an accused criminal this morning which is not a good feeling when you're anxious enough.2years on and the reception staff are still in need of care skills, how on earth this place is still operating is beyond me

This is one of the most horrible Medical Centres I have ever come across with. Most of the receiptionist are too lazy and very rude with a horrible attitude. It is not possible to see your GP because anytime I called she was on annual leave and the on duty doctor was so useless and she could not refer me for anything. she said I have to wait until my doctor is back and I have been suffering from a horrible pain for such a long time. Their online booking service does not work so you will have to contact the surgery and speak to the uneducated and rude receiptionists. Just stay away from this Medical Centre. It is a waste of time as they are useless and horrible. I wish all the worst in life really as I suffered a lot because of them.

Tried to use the automated booking system, and it would not register an appointment, so I went on hold . After 30 minutes of waiting I walked around to the doctors which is five minutes away and went into the reception, my mobile phone was still on hold and in my hand. When i arrived no one was manning the phones, the receptionists where just chatting in the back. After waiting 30 seconds , one of the receptionists gave me my appointment in person for three weeks time. My phone however was still on hold. I would complain , but I doubt they would care.

I am register in Grovlands 7years. They are always helpfull and staff is very nice. It is one of the best clinic in Reading.They help me when I need them, and they also help my friend which do not recive proffesional help from the hospital for 2 years, I recommend her this clinic and she finally get help.Pandemic is a hard time for all medical centers that why I think this is not the something to give 2 or 1 star to this clinic.

I am astounded at some of the negative comments I have just looked at. I have been with Grovelands for over 30 years.I have never had a problem with the receptionists, and the Doctors are brilliant. I have always received the very best of care, even though they have had to deal with the increase of patients over the years. As for the parking, are there any parking facilities at any other surgeries any better?. Some have none at all. I count my blessings that I am a patient of Grovelands. If I could give 10 stars I would.
