Stayed for a hen weekend and had the best time! We had 3 lodges, all gorgeous and super clean. Only critique is they don't provide towels. There are many of us who are booking to return with our partners.

We stayed in Rowan Lodge which was advertised as being wheelchair accessible and having an accessible bathroom. Whilst the lodge was generally clean and comfortable, the accessible bathroom was not as described. The bathroom did have grab rails, but they were positioned badly and were almost useless. The floor was very slippery when wet and the toilets were low. We have attached photos so that anyone with access needs including wheelchair users can make a more informed decision about the suitability.

Lodge was amazing fishing was tough, every cast I just caught weeds I wouldn’t recommend Hoggs pond for amateur fishermen get good first and I would recommend ledgering as that’s what the professionals were using

I would give it 0 stars but I can't so 1 star of you are planning on coming to go fishing here please do not waste your money in the space of 3 days I pulled out 200lbs of weeds in total and there is only a carp head count of about 80 even though on the website it says there is a head count of 300. The lake hasn't been stocked in multiple years and it is extremely over grown and all the docks are rotten wood which fall apart when you stand on them

It was amazing. So peaceful looking over at the lake with a glass of wine. Hot tub was good too. We loved it so much we have booked again for my 60th.

Had a 5 day Easter break. Lodges we’re clean and cozy and well equipped. Hot tub was great and a real touch of luxury.Fishing was challenging mainly due to weather, however did managed to catch.Very relaxing and will definitely book again.

Very nice surroundings lovely lake . Great if you're into fishing. The lodge was a bit dated but clean. We had a sauna and hot tub which was great. Would definitely go back if in the area

Great location 5 min by car 15 to walk to park and ride and tescos. Other bus stop to town just up the road from site entrance. Lovely peaceful sit with great views over lake. Fishing available but very hard going.
