St Mary's Scottish Episcopal Church

Beautiful historic building in lovely setting within Dalkeith Country Park. Warm friendly evangelical welcome from the congregation. Would thoroughly recommend.

I attend this church regularly. The congregation are very friendly and welcoming to visitors or new members.

We held our daughter's wedding at St Mary's. With the opportunity to use the wonderful Restoration Yard at Dalkeith Country Park for the reception, St Mary's was a beautiful venue for their wedding service. Particular thanks to Peter, the minister and John the caretaker, both of whom could not have been more helpful. Members of the church were on hand for the preparations and on the day; they were very accommodating in making minor changes to the placement of furniture and items used in making the church a place of welcome for children. Everything worked well. The ancient water powered organ requires a little TLC but was coaxed into life. Being such a lovely day, we were able to process down to the reception following the pipers. Thoroughly recommended and would justify a perfect score with new life breathed into the organ. Thank you to everyone involved

A beautiful church.We booked to have our wedding here in August and they were happy to accommodate. The reverend was lovely and it was nice to meet him a few times before hand, he offered an option for an organist (who was really good and I'm glad we went with her) and spoke with our florist to organise times for set up. He had a good set of notes which made planning the day easier and was overall very friendly, really helpful and I would definitely recommend. They have a ramp for wheelchairs and there's a really pretty garden just over the gravel.

This is a lovely church in a beautiful setting. The people are really friendly too and, if you are lucky enough to visit the park when they are having a coffee morning, they will welcome you in for a cuppa and some tasty home baking!

To much preaching, hard to get to as well.

Beautiful little church just outside off from the hight street in dalkeith. Unfortunately it wasn't open to look inside but the Beautiful architecture on the outside and the amazing surrounding are worth 5 starts on their own. I will visit again and try see inside.
